Place the pad over the gauze filled wound and complete application by wrapping the attached gauze roll around the pad. Keep pressure on the wound until the bleeding stops-usually in about 3 minutes.

I've found it very difficult to put these in my first aid kits as the pack size is just so bulky. It would make so much more sense if they were packed individually and vacuum sealed to reduce volume of pack size. As good as I'm sure the product is, it has little value if you can't pack it in the your emergency kits to begin with. However, without testing it, the product does look to be high quality and I'm sure it would be effective. You just need a very large kit to place it in.
