Great product, works as intended.
I read the reviews of several different window screen products before deciding to buy this one for several of the windows in my house. I'm happy with my decision. Before buying more than one, check to see if you have enough netting and strips for more than window using one pack. If so, search for the corner pieces which are sold as a separate product to save some money! The use of magnets make the screen very easy to attach and remove. The plastic that goes over the magnetic strip makes it look more professional than the velcro attachment designs. The screens have kept spiders/flies/moths/wasps out of my house. I still get spider webs forming around the window opening which requires periodic cleaning. As others have noted, the corners can be tricky to attach. I found the best way was to cut the plastic strips slightly short in order to leave a small gap in the corners. Attach a plastic strip to the magnetic strip then slide the corner piece over the end. Slide the end of another plastic strip onto the other end of the corner piece, and then attach the second plastic piece to the magnetic strip. Repeat for the other corners. I have not had any issues with the screen staying up on any of my normal windows. The one on my VELUX window fell down at the slightest touch until I strategically placed the wind clips to hold it in place. I think this was due to the weight of the plastic and magnetic strips as it's a big window. The adhesive attached directly to my painted wall is holding fine. My VELUX windows start where the wall starts to angle inward which meant I had to get creative and cut the vertical plastic and magnetic strips near the bottom to attach it all the way round the window (see photos).

Don't hesitate, its brilliant
Was sceptical, its quite expensive for some magnetic tape and net but wat very surprised at the contents and the quality. There is a QR code for a video that I would recommend watching. Prep the surface well and take your time. I managed a large window on my own with a little bit of 'juggling' but it was really, really straight forward. I am totally thrilled with the results. I have spent a lot of time and money over the years and wish I had just got this product. I have enough spare to do another window and I have ordered the corners separately. I have also order 2 more sets to do the conservatory windows asap. Looks professional, in fact, this is barely visible. I would recommend black/grey mesh to make it invisible. Don't hesitate, it is a really good product, great finished appearance and quite easy..... what is there not to like

Some problems, but value for money.
I was fitting these to my velux sky lights. Granted, that's not exactly the easiest thing because of the slope, but just be aware before buying that you do need quite a bit of diy savy to do this job. I think it would have been easier on a regular window. Finished product seems to keep the flies out which is what it was about. 6 months later: fly screens held up well all summer. Some of them worn a bit at corners. My advice is to not trim the mesh right back flush with the frame, but leave 1" around it so you can tighten it up if needed. Always have a bit more mesh left over around the edge because if you trim it flush, and then need to tighten, you can actually damage the weave at the corners. 2 of mine are now damaged. the 3rd I did it with extra. Also, if using on a velux as we do, you will need to attach the top part of the frame onto the window frame with a piece of wooden batton or something. We have done this, and it makes each net really easy to open and shut (to operate the opening of the velux). Also, don't cut the plastic frame too short. It needs to butt right up to each other on the corners to make it strong enough to withstand the continual use. Much easier to install on a regular window. Good for keeping out insects. Very happy with that side of it. One last thing is, you need VERY strong thumbs to get the strip locked into the magnetic strip. Follow instructions on bending it backwards to open the plastic bit up so it attaches, and sort of ride it onto the magnet like an uncurling wave motion, and it will go on fine. Its a knack. Definitely your first one will be a learning curve.

Patience needed.
Had one of those Velcro screens up but it just looked too untidy and was a pain to keep removing and reattaching to access window. This is great, looks so much better against the window. It does take a while to put up, I installed it alone reasonably easily but a second hand may have helped. A tip I will give is don’t reach up to attach the white plastic, keep everything at eye level you will be able to push it on much easier. Also make sure to watch the help video if not sure what to do. Corner pieces a bit tricky too but got them done eventually. Mine needs cutting properly to get a decent finish but I was just glad to have got it up, so that can be a job for another day. Would recommend. Edit* - these are great , I’ve purchased a further 2 for other windows and 1 for my brother’s home too. Look very professional, we love them A*

This works, and has been a godsend in the hot weather.
We're delighted with this. It looks tidy and professional and it works. Follow the video instructions and it is reasonably straightforward to put togther. It has now been up for three weeks, a little tightening of a top corner yesterday was required (that's gravity for you) but that has been it for maintenance. It has made a major improvement to our comfort levels during the hot weather as we can leave the window open without getting midge bite.

Not the best
I don't like leaving bad reviews but I'm not very impressed with this purchase. The net is great until I need to lift it to open or close the window, the plastic trim comes away from the magnet and the netting/mesh comes away from between them. It's not the first time I've fitted these, so I know I've done it correctly. 3 stars because when it's in place, it does keep the bugs out which is the whole point but it's a shame I have to keep refitting it.

Don’t keep it in your basket and look around. Buy it now
I didn’t think it would work. I’ve never had any luck with those Velcro ones. I measure, cut, stick it in the right place. Even replaced be Velcro with decent quality ones. I guess you get what you pay for. I opened this and thought I’d be in for the same struggle. It was a bit more setup than the cheap ones, but once it was up. It actually looked good too. I kept checking on it for hours, sure I’d find it on the floor or flapping open. There’s not been a single issue. I absolutely love it. I got a larger size and was able to do two medium sized windows. A fair bit pricey, compared to the cheap Velcro one, but well worth it I’ve wasted more one those than I needed to. I will be reordering to replace the old crappy ones that fall off constantly

Installing will make you really REALLY angry
An hour deep into installing number one of two of these and after a promising start, I’m dripping with sweat, deep in a rage, with two thumbs that may never know a life without pain again. I have no idea if we will get to using it or if it will end up in the bin in a rage. The strip to clip this on the magnetic channel is utterly ridiculously fiddly and even without trying to wedge the fabric in, it’s a struggle. I’ve never regretted my life choices more than with this purchase.
