Cheap plastic supports for swivals , one already broke with moderate wind, does not always rotate-flag messed up UPDATE Seems company reached out and said they would replace rings on poles with metal ones, will wait and see what becomes of this The company did send new items to replace the old ones and they look like they’re more heavy duty. I have not put them on yet but thanks for the company for responding for my complaint. Looks like they’re a legit outfit.

I bought the 2-pack of these flag poles, and the poles themselves were actually great. They went together easily, were simple to mount, and look really nice once up. The reason for the 3 stars is the “tangle-free” brackets. Unfortunately, they don’t spin freely like they should, so the flags still end up wrapping around the pole. I’ve been having to untangle them almost every day, which is frustrating and pretty much the opposite of what I expected. If the brackets actually rotated smoothly, these would be a solid product. As it stands, they look good, but the main feature doesn’t really deliver.

The update: NOT even worth 2 stars, "at least now". It lasted just long enough that it was out of the return window time. (Of course). The one collar at the top of the pole kept hanging up and flag would of course wrap up every day. It was PERFECT until a week ago. I discovered what I believe 1 OR more of the "glass balls" in the collar seem to be broken. On the workbench I can turn the collar a little bit and it locks up solid. I back it up and try again and it starts OK but again will lock up. There has to be broken pieces in that collar that stop it. I plan on contacting the seller to have them send at least one replacement collar, in color white. If that does not work, I will try Amazon to ask for an exception on the return ....... OR see if Amazon can have the seller send one to me. I hope this was just isolated problem, because this flag really worked great for about 2 months. PS. The end of my original review about the sections loosening up in high winds, even when turned very tight. I used STRONG construction Gorilla glue, and one section still became loose. I can fix that, but I cannot fixed that defective collar. Indygrandpa MY Original Review: Someone had a great idea about the NO RUST "glass balls" that I call ball bearings, enclosed in the revolving pivot points that hold the flag on the pole. I have had this flag about a week now and have had high winds from different directions and not ONE wrap-up has happened. This flag poll, and its rotating swivel points need NO lube. The flag effortlessly rotates around the pole because of the glass ball bearings in the swivel's housing. I had different slip-on metal collars I purchased from Amazon for my old aluminum flag pole and they were "kind of OK", BUT it seemed like every other day I had to unwrap my flag. The enemy?? It was Friction! The rotating tabs, top and bottom were metal to metal. I put some thin grease in the slot but it did not last, AND in the wrap ups my flag got some dark aluminum/grease spots on it. The one caution I might add: In tightening the Allen-head lock bolt on those collars, do not over tighten because these collars are NOT metal. (hard plastic, maybe fiberglass). The Allen bolts seem to "bite into the pole" really good with "cautious" tightening. Mine did NOT slip even in those high winds for a week. You can always RE-Tighten ........ but not if you strip out the treads on that collar!! PS. I read in another person's review on this product about the pole sections that screw together. He said that his loosened up in some high winds. He put adhesive on the threads and reassembled the sections. (I used a Gorilla Glue on mine) Make sure every thing is OK before gluing. You probably could NOT return the product if sections are glued together.

Vu le prix demandé, c'est peu de chose.
