We always keep a pack of these Staedtler Noris HB pencils in our drawer honestly, they’re the kind you just know will work every time. I remember using these back in school myself, so there’s a bit of nostalgia there too! The eraser tips are handy for quick corrections (especially when my 10-year-old is doing her homework and needs to rub out half a maths page 😅). They sharpen well without constantly snapping, and the HB lead is just the right balance not too soft, not too scratchy.
