How long are the 4 cables?

The ones that came with mine are 44 inches each.

Why is screen on pc2 short on sides - not as wide as the monitor? Without this device it is normal

Make sure that on both computers you set your resolution to the resolution of your monitor. On a Windows 10 machine, the path is Windows->Settings->System->Display->Display Resolution (Drop-Down Menu). Then change that setting to your monitor's resolution. Your monitor's native resolution can be found in the manual that came with your monitor or by doing an internet search if you know the name of your monitor. Make sure you complete that on both computers and that should solve the issue.

Why does each cable have a usb connector in addition to the 2 cable end vga connectors?

Thats how it gets power . you plug in vga cable abd usb

Will this work with Dell docking station. Laptop support seems to be skimmed over with out details. Thanks

I can’t assure it works with a dell docking station but I have a Lenovo docking, Lenovo laptop, and a dell compact server share a monitor. I believe any VGA output works... not to sure on the USB interface
