Gibson Elite Althea 16 Piece Reactive Glaze Dinnerware, Multicolor -, Service for 4 (16pcs), Red

I had been looking for dishes with certain elements for my new house. I love the rounded square shape and the earthtone colors. When they arrived, I was even more pleased with the sizes of everything. The cups are large and comfortable to use, the bowls are deep, and the plates are large with a slight concave shape to keep juices and sauces in. They are heavy, and even though I've bumped them on the counter and sink, they haven't chipped or broke. They aren't lightweight, which is asked for in the rating for stars, but they aren't intended to be. They are sturdy and substantial. I spent a year looking at dishes and didn't find anything close in stores. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I love them! Arrived quickly and safely. I was hoping no broken pieces and it was packaged so well it would probably have to be dropped. I was very impressed. I absolutely love the pattern and colors on the dishes. Matches my color scheme nicely. There were very few imperfections. They are heavy and well made. Just a beautiful set of nice dishes.

These dishes appear to be sturdy. The colors are vibrant. They are a little larger than my previous dishes. Going from Corelle to these dishes there is definitely a weight difference, but I really like them. One of the bowls was cracked in half upon delivery. I sent an email to Gibson Home asking where I could obtain a replacement. Within a week I received a replacement bowl. Great customer service. Update: I have been using these dishes for 1 year. Sorry to say they scratch easily so they don’t look as nice as when I purchased them. Considering I have two 4 piece sets and only two people in our house, I would have expected them to not be as scratched as they are. I like the coffee mugs because they are large, but the coffee cools off in ten minutes and I have to keep reheating the coffee in the microwave. I will probably have to buy new dishes in the next few years because of how easily they scratch.

I bought this set to replace some old Corelle. They are very nice looking, heavy and sturdy. I love the color and feel of the set. I just received them so I cannot comment on the durability yet but will follow up. The only issue I have is the large plate does not fit in my cabinet. It is 10.75" and my old Corelle was 10.25". So, the door does not close all the way. But I am happy with the purchase.

I love this dinner set and It’s Beautiful! I like them so well I this is my 2nd set to have enough for 8. There’re well made not thin. I get many compliments on them. Dishwasher and microwave safe. I have used in oven for broiler to brown something or to keep warm for short periods. Never had any break. The dishes come Very well packed. They’re packed with cardboard layers in between each dish in 5 boxes inside 2 other boxes. No slop to fall around and get broken. You can’t beat the price either. Because of the quality I will continue to stick to this brand.

Schnelle Lieferung, professionell gepackt, nicht der kleinste Defekt. Farben und Qualität, wie erwartet. Für mich ein echter Hingucker auf einem gedeckten Tisch. Ich liebe nativen Schmuck und Gegenstände und dieses Geschirr hat die gleichen Farben und passt perfekt.

Bonito diseño, resistentes, llegaron dos días después de la fecha estimada , pero llegaron en muy buenas condiciones ,completas, bien empacadas y protegidas.

Really nice dishes. Unfortunately, roughly three days after purchasing the set I already shattered a plate. I was heartbroken. It was completely my fault though, and has no bearing on the quality of the wares. Might buy a second backup set to account for my goofy ass dropping things. Wish you could buy individual pieces haha.
