Question 1

Does this have wifi? i was looking at this for my calculus classes or the ti 84? which one is better? how is the battery life? does to do rpn?

Accepted Answer

Hi,HP Prime does not have WiFi, but instead it had a wireless capabilities. It can communicate with a special transceiver module from HP. Choosing between Ti-84 and HP-Prime depends on the class material and the instructor preference. If you are looking for a powerful processing calculator, then HP-Prime is probably one of the fastest you can find today. Also great for writing your own programs using PC connectivity kit.For me as ECE graduate student, it provide lots of flexibility and computational power (impressive graphics capabilities).Battery life seems very good to me. It need a charge every 2 weeks (depends on your use and screen brightness). It does RPN but not natively as old HP calculators do. In addition the user experince is copletly differnt.in conclusion, it has lots of potentials other than the builtin Apps. It can be frustrating if your curricular activities are based on Ti's calculators.Hope this helps,Mohammed
