Obviously I have quite a bit of hair but one bottle was enough to completely whiten my whole head. I ended up pouring a small amount into my hands and running them through my hair. It gets difficult as you get further on as the paint starts to dry it gets ever so stiff and sticks to itself. It also gets dusty. The color was completely dry when I put a black shirt on and by the end of the night, just making the constant contact with clothes was enough to cover my shirt with white dust. Obviously, it didn't cover the yellow tint in my blonde hair,but I wasn't going.for big budget movie production makeup effects. I was satisfied enough. I purchased 2 bottles, one for a test run and one for the main event.
