The pressure can be regulated on the paint gun as it comes with a regulator. Hope this helps, and it is a very nice paint gun, works well and comes with the needles and caps that can be changed according to what you are painting. **Q: Is the cup adaptor compatible with the Spectrum system from Harbor Freight?** A: Yes. It works. The in cup filter also will work with either. I have the Master 44 and Spectrum Black Widow. I use the Master Pro for my clear and the Widow for my paint. The Pro does a better job in my opinion laying down the clear. Both guns are easy to use and in my opinion, dollar for dollar one of the best guns for your buck. You could use the pro for your paint as well. But it comes down to preference.
