Is the expiration date really 1/13?

No, every seller has their own expiration date. Last one I got was 6/17

Did this product actually expire Jan 2013?

No it's still good, my expiration is 2015. Yes, it is more difficult to find so I order it by the dozen!

Why is this product so expensive on Amazon? I can buy this for 99 cents per unit at my local grocery store.
