There are so many gestures and small movements that can have multiple meanings. And many gestures I didn’t realize had any meaning at all. I feel like I’ve confused a lot of horses in my life! I wish there was a video companion piece to this work as some of the subtleties are hard to envision. Still, a must read for anyone who works with and loves horses.
