Ghost Of Tsushima Director's Cut (PS5)

Absolutely incredible open world samurai game. I bought this when I first got my ps5 few years ago. Setting is so immersive, sound/music is incredible Graphics incredible Weather so nice It’s just a joy to play. Fun explanation even on horse, combat is fluid and really fun, the story is really really good for a change and engaging and the dlc unlike most games was really really good. I got the platinum trophy and I completed the dlc and dlc felt better in parts then base game. All in all this game is an easy 10/10 and not many games can pull that off. The only thing that did rub me up the wrong way a bit, was the typical open world markers for collectables EVERYWHERE and there 100’s of them. Optional of course, you can ignore them but as I loved this game so much, I felt compelled to collect them. Can’t wait for the new Gjost Of Yotei in October. It will either be be just as good as this or improve somewhat with new mechanics. Of course, it could be a worse game then this but even then, I know the quality will be so high that it will still be fantastic. Although, I won’t mind playing as a girl in new game, I hope she’s badass and not stop out and annoying like Ellie in last of us 2. I was so glad to play as Abby for most of that game because Ellie really annoyed me in that game.

Really liking this game.. graphics are really top notch stuff.. music is really good too.. So if I was to break It down for anyone wanting to try this game. I would say if you were an onimusha fan back in the day you will really like this . If I was to pitch it I would say it's across between Witcher and red dead redemption.. There's tons of stuff to do on it . There's skills you need to obtain to defeat enemies.. for example if you have to fight a shielded enemy.. you can switch your sword stance to defeat them easier if you have obtained the skills . If not you feel the struggle.. the sword fighting never feels boring either. It's challenging, doesn't take much for an enemy to kill you.. i haven't completed it yet .story is pretty awesome too .. it starts off fast with high octane action.. I reckon there's probably at least 30 hrs gameplay in this.. and if you count side missions probably a good 50-60 hrs .

Phenomenal game all around, a must play for fans of RPG and/or Japanese culture. The director's cut was well worth it for the Japanese VA, the soundtrack and the DLC storyline. It set a high bar for immersion, and this is probably the only game I've played on the highest difficulty and loved it, as I found the sneaking & katana combat extremely plausible and rewarding. Enemies don't suddenly require to be hit a million times, it's a balance of how forgiving is the game towards you, and as you could strike down an enemy with a single blow of your katana, so can they do to you. The art then becomes about learning how to dodge/parry every single time (and know when to run from a fight) The sequel is coming out soon, but the first game is definitely worth playing first !

Loved the game. It has a great storyline and sub plots. The game environment is really cool and not quite easy but very much likable.

Well worth every penny one of the best playstation games out there. Great story mechanics is awesome and the game environments is gorgeous.

I should start by saying that I never experienced the game on PS4. My 1st impression comes from playing the definitive PS5 version. The visuals and audio are stunning. The Directors Cut is technically very sound, with a smooth 60fps gameplay at a 4k resolution. Loading times are minimal, and the sound design is perfect. The game is an open world, Samurai epic with influence from the works of Akira Kurosawa. The game has similarities to other franchises such as Assassin's Creed in terms of overall design, but it's a better product than those games. This is due to a superior feeling of exploration, better side content and main story flow and superb customisation, progression and combat systems. The story revolves around a Samurai who must relinquish his honour and tradition in order to save his people and homeland. It's told exceptionally well and it progresses naturally as you play. The PS5 version also features extra items, a large DLC that takes place on an additional Japanese island, and various Quality-of-Life improvements that enhance the game and combat. An absolute must play, and I haven't even talked about the compelling multuplayer modes. Don't hesitate and pick this gem of a game up!

Brilliant game I've played this many times the graphics are awesome the story is fantastic and gameplay is really good I've seen what the second looks like an don't even come close to this masterpiece should have won game of year buy lame God of war Ragnarok took it instead

What can I say more...it's Ghost of Tsushima. Excellent game. Really hope they port this on PC.

Ghost of Tsushima es de esos juegos que te atrapan desde el primer minuto. La ambientación en el Japón feudal es espectacular, con paisajes que parecen sacados de una película y un sistema de combate que combina acción y estrategia de manera perfecta. La historia engancha mucho con una mecánica de combates muy pulida, luchando entre el honor/venganza del samurai y la necesidad de sobrevivir. Todo ello en un mundo abierto que te da mucha libertad para ir completando misiones principales o secundarias. La versión de PS5 aprovecha muy bien la consola: carga rapidísima, gráficos preciosos y un sonido envolvente que te mete de lleno en la aventura. Lo mejor es que se siente como una gran primera parte de lo que promete ser una saga increíble. De hecho, en breve llegará Ghost of Yotei, y después de jugar a este, no tengo ninguna duda de que caerá el día uno. Recomiendo este juego a todo el mundo: es una experiencia épica, emocionante y uno de esos títulos que no pueden faltar en tu colección. Un auténtico juegazo.
