Would this net work to catch a bat or bird that gets n my house?

This is exactly the reason I am here...bats and birds! My cat sometimes brings birds inside and it would be easier to catch them with this. And just last night I had a (^%#@!) BAT in my house! I wouldn't have felt so helpless if I'd had this net to catch it with. Thanks so much for your question.

How do you connect the net to the ring? It came unattached

The hoop is not connected to the handle. Put the net on the hoop. The two ends of the hoop have black plastic on them. One has a screw sticking up, the other a hole where the screw threads through. Connect the two black plastic pieces and then screw the non handle end of the handle on the screw on the hoop. The net might fit a little tight to start with.

Restcloud, do you sell replacement nets for these? prior questions and links to replacement nets don't seem to work.

What material is the net made of?

It has the feel of a nylon or polyester similar to a window screen but slightly heavier. Although I also use cotton nets because they are softer, cotton nets get tangled in underbrush more easily. I’ve also noticed that this net is deeper than what I am accustomed to but it allows me to capture more and hold them in the net if I go into a “collecting frenzy”
