Wanted one for a long time very pleased with the purchase, can’t rate this band enough and look forward to using another product from them when I need it.

This product came to me for testing. I tend to write honest reviews and I don’t even want to be misleading. I confess I don’t understand how to judge such a complex diagnostic tool. It’s about that it’s a great tool. I can see in my hand that it represents good quality. The wires and connectors work well. Perfect for diagnosing our car and detecting any faults. However, expertise is required to use the tool and interpret the data from it. This does not deduct anything from the value of the asset. The target group is just not the average person, such as a middle-aged driver. So unfortunately I can't write an honest opinion about how it works. This is well built, feature rich, expandable, and meets industry standards and protocols. There are no instructions, though, so you have to know what you’re doing. Still, if you know enough to get started, Google will likely give you all the help and advice you need. Just keep in mind that there’s potential to damage your car, so tread carefully. My car’s off the road for repair after someone rear-ended it and shunted me into the car in front, so I can’t test it properly yet. The tool has the potential, however, to assist with all sorts of car-related issues, from diagnosing and resetting warning lights to saving settings when the battery is disconnected. NB “assist” in that sentence though. This device won’t do a lot by itself. It’s really just a connection box for other tools, a hub if you like. The right tools plus this box could save you a significant amount of money on car diagnosis and repair. My only real criticism is that the kit comes in a cardboard box rather than a case with space for all the bits and pieces that come with it. That’s a shame. They could offer a simple case at minimal extra cost. Even a soft pouch would be better than nothing.. Still, even without a case and instructions, I’d buy it. Four stars? Five? I’m not sure, but, given the absence of instructions and a case, I think I’m going to be mean and award just four.

This is a must have. Saves you money at home. This is designed to find out codes on your car and it has worked for me. It’s really simple to use once you know how. I don’t a lot of online research on learning how to use this correctly and if you don’t know how to this is a must. Everything seems really good quality. The OBD box is a good fair size fells good quality and durable. It comes with multiple wires which are all colour coded. It did help me find the fault code and it was an unnecessary code and it wiped it for me and I have had no further issues. If you want to try and save money at home and not be ripped off at garages this is definitely worth buying to help you out. For the sake of £89.99 it could save your hundreds. It’s a good piece of kit to have at home. It’s handy. Good quality and excellent value for money.

I have used this for several use on my car. The way things are going nowadays, everything is expensive and taking it to the garage, they charge extra and rip people off. I was able to come across this and saw how convenient this became for me. Just for diagnostics on the car, garages charge £40+ and I can just do it for free using this tool. I had issues with the lights not turning on, and I wanted to know exactly what the issue was and used this. Turned out it was the fuse and I was able to recognise other parts of car having issues as well such as the sensors. My horn was another problem and the issue this junction box highlighted was that the horn became faulty after a collision; this made things easier and cheaper for me as I was able to identify the problems. This way, the people at garage could not screw me again and again. So I'm really happy with this box. Came really handy!

This breakout box will immensely help if you are trying to diagnose an issue with your ECM/PCM or any module! All you have to do is wire the module directly to the breakout box. Yes you need to know what is power and grounds on the module but that’s easy with Mitchell on demand DIY. Once wired, hook up you scan tool and it should read. If it doesn’t then the module is fried. If it does then you know the problem isn’t the ECM. It saves tons of money especially on older modules that the dealers say they’re obsolete.
