Review: Don't buy this product from exborder - Very worst product
Review: Doesn't work and the fumes are lethal - I used Tamiya masking tape on a rear screen, out of the car, to form 1.5mm wide channels and filled these with this product up to the copper tracks that still showed voltage and ensured a good 1cm overlap. The fumes were overwhelming, a respirator was no use and in a large open workshop, fully ventilated with a fan blowing across the work area, the fumes were unbearable, triggering an asthma attack and streaming eyes, the fumes hit anyone who walked through the building like a hammer and could be smelt two units away. I left the first two tracks to cure overnight and next day they showed no continuity across and carried no voltage whatsoever; basically lethal and utterly useless.

**Q: How long does this last once opened? I want to have this on hand for small electronic repairs over the course of time**
A: It lasts a long time, but it does dry out quickly.  You need to get a can of thinner (435-1L) and add thinner as needed.  Even if the Super Shield container is completely dried out and solidified, if you add thinner, it will be liquified again.

**Q: Would this work for coating pp+eva plastic hard drive case to protect stored drives from emp?**
A: I doubt that this paint would protect stored drives from emp. This item is simply electro-conductive paint.  We use it in our Physics Labs at the community college level.  It is a good product but it is not as good as the predecessor product "Silver Print," which had better conductivity.  Super Shield is most commonly used to paint circuits onto a circuit board. So I don't see how painting plastic hard drive cases with it would protect the hard drive inside from emp.  My advice would be:  Avoid explosions of nuclear weapons, if at all possible.

**Q: What should be used to thin this paint?**
A: MG makes a thinner for the Super Shield product.  The product number is 435-1L, I think.  Just go to the MG Website; they have complete information available.  You really need to get the thinner, because the product dries out very quickly while you are using it.  You need to keep adding thinner.

**Q: How will this perform under different temperature ranges? Mainly I am looking for a range of between 0 and 180 degrees Celsius.**
A: Check the MG website; they have better information on the product than I can tell you, and it's very easy to find.

I had to use this on a speaker voice coil. It's a dual voice coil subwoofer and the leads were soldered under the dustcap, then covered in CA glue. So, uncovering that would have been quite a chore. I removed some of the paper over the coil leads running up the former and applied several coats of this. I don't measure any resistance. I then ran 1000 watts through the woofer just to see if this would burn like a fuse. It did not nor did it get warm. That makes sense given that it doesn't have any measurable resistance. I covered it with CA glue and that is a repaired woofer.
