The Toolbox is an amazing collection of various Design Thinking methods with expert tips and advice for each method described in the book. I am also throughly impressed by the design of the book.

I just used Persona/User Profile section of the page to help in our marketing efforts. The book is a compilation and categorization of practices around the world, and is focused on the "doing" aspect of DT. Highly recommended if you need to actually "do" DT at work or class.

I’ve read a number of books on design thinking over the years, but "The Design Thinking Toolbox" stands out for being more than just informative, it’s genuinely practical. This isn’t a dense academic text or a high-level overview. It’s a hands on, ready to use resource that’s as useful for beginners as it is for experienced facilitators. The layout is extremely user friendly and visual. Each method is broken down in a clear, concise format that helps you understand not only what it is, but when and how to apply it effectively. The visual structure and quick reference layout make it easy to bring into meetings, workshops, and strategy sessions. What makes this book truly stand out: Well-organized and easy to navigate: The book is structured around the design thinking process, with each phase, empathy, ideation, prototyping, etc. clearly marked. You can quickly flip to exactly what you need, which makes it a great tool under real-time pressure. Practical tool cards: Each method is presented like a recipe, with clear instructions, purpose, ideal timing, and potential pitfalls. It’s not just theory it’s a workbook for action. Designed for team use: While it’s absolutely useful for individuals, the book really shines when used in collaborative settings. It gives structure to workshops, team exercises, and innovation labs. Versatile across industries: Whether you’re in product development, UX, business strategy, education, or nonprofit work, these methods translate across fields. I’ve used the techniques both in creative brainstorms and in structured corporate environments with great results. This book has earned a permanent place on my desk. I keep going back to it when planning client sessions, internal team sprints, or even just when I’m stuck in problem-solving mode. As someone who enjoys reviewing tools and resources that help professionals work smarter and more creatively, I’d love the opportunity to contribute to the Amazon Vine program. Reviews like this are exactly the kind of guidance I seek out myself and I’m always eager to share truly useful tools like this one with others. If you're looking for a book that actually helps you do design thinking not just talk about it, this is it. Highly recommended.
