Will this act as an adapter between a pocketwizard plus iii and a remote canon 430ex ii. (i would transmit from a pocketwizard plus iii on camera)

Yes it will. I use it all the time with my Canon 580 EX II. Keep in mind that the 580 EX II has a buit-in PC Sync terminal. I dont think the 430 EX does. However, you should be able to attach it to one of these hot-shoe adapters and attach it to your pocket wizard then fire it off with another pocket-wizard mounted on your camera.
