Absolutely recommend for students
I grabbed this back in September after getting tired of digging around in my bag looking for the adapter and I could not be more pleased. It's so easy to use and I typically just leave it on the pencil. The grip to help keep it on is a bit powerful so the cap tends to come off if you are trying to take the grip off to charge with but it's a minor complaint, especially in comparison to the ease it offers me. Plus, I never have to worry that the cap is going to go missing! The magnetic ring fell out a day or two ago but the cap is fitted so well to the pencil that I didn't even recognize what had happened until I was taking the photos. It's also sustained a tiny fracture on the side but charging has been unaffected and the damage seems to be superficial.

No issues thus far!
It charges well. I’ve read a lot of reviews about it not fitting. It does fit, it just takes a lot of pressure. You may even like it’s going to break bc your pressing it soo hard. But it will click in. I didn’t like the rubber piece that came with it though. Every time i tried to remove it to charge the pen, the adapter would come off with it. I didn't really like the feel of constantly having to snap it back on. That’s when I felt like it was going to break lol. Other then that. I’d say it’s really good. Plus you can’t beat the price! P.S. don’t mind my husbands feet😂

Great product with minor frustration
This is great as something I can leave on the pencil so as not to constantly carry around the apple charging adapter. At first it didn't look or feel like the pencil was charging -- the rounded shape made me a little worried -- but when I watched the iPad battery indicator for the pencil, it showed that it was charging. The only issue is that the rubber cap is tight enough that if you put it on all the way, when you remove it you remove the adapter as well. I suspect that will weaken over time, so long-term this probably isn't an issue, but it is a minor frustration when it happens. Otherwise, I am very pleased with it.

Great quality and Innovative!
Strong magnet! Stays on well. The silicon grip goes on well too. I've psot so many caps and was tired of it. Also lost my little separate charging unit. This is AMAIZNG! So far so good, have charged it once so far snd have had it for about a few weeks. The charge lasts a while! Im an artist and draw alot!

Broke Too Easily
Barely had it for a month and the cap shattered. It was nice while it lasted and made charging more convenient, but I won't be buying it again. It's a waste for the price and the magnets were fairly weak. Size was fine and functionally okay other than it breaking after 3 weeks. Still outside return window, so there isn't a way to get it replaced even if I wanted to.

Not Bad but could be better
I purchased this product after I tried a similar product that had a small silicone attachment to attempt to keep from losing the original Apple Pencil cap. After losing it and not being able to find the cap (or the attachment that attempts to keep it on the Pencil), I thought this might be a better solution. It definitely is a better solution to the original pencil cap AND the item I had purchased before. In theory, it should work a whole lot better, but the reality is not always that. I have some complaints about this item. Since the cap is NOT magnetic, it doesn’t always “click” onto the pencil. It often pops off. Sometimes I get it “snapped” in without any issues, but sometimes I can’t get it, no matter how hard I try. Not sure what I’m doing wrong, but it just won’t snap in. The good part is, if it doesn’t snap in, the silicone attachment that is put on top is a MUCH BETTER solution than the previous brand I had purchased. The previous brand was just a thin circular attachment, which did not do much. This silicone is much thicker than the other brand, plus since it covers the whole cap (kind of like a knit hat one wears in the snow), it really hangs onto the cap when it won’t stay on… so you really won’t lose the cap. The other part I don’t like is that, when the cap won’t “snap” in, it won’t charge correctly because it is not connecting to the wire properly. I’ve put the Apple wire in the slot (at the top of the cap) and come back to the Apple Pencil, only to find out it wasn’t charging at all… because the cap had not been “snapped” in correctly. In the end, it’s a good solution if you’ve lost the original cap that came with the Apple Pencil. But It’s not a perfect solution… I feel if they made the cap magnetic, it might solve the issue.

It's just "OK".... UPDATED Its perfect.
The idea behind this is 10 out of 10! Why Apple made the pencil with a male charger end on it and gives you a double female adaptor that's about as easy to hang onto and not lose as your baby teeth is beyond comprehension. But that's typical Apple engineering for you. Let's engineer something so simple that's it's now ignorant. Like I said the idea behind this piece is excellent. The execution however is far from perfect. The magnet that supposed to hold it atop the pencil is weak, too weak in fact to hold it in place so it doesn't become lost... So much for a good idea. UPDATE. After a couple months, I figured out that the cap had to be pushed just a little further to fully seat. After that, it charges perfectly and is much more secure. Very nice.

Magnifico!
