Philips LED Premium Frosted Light Bulb [E27 Edison Screw] 7W - 60W Equivalent, Warm White (2700K), Non-Dimmable

Philips is a well trusted brand which I have used for many years even going back to the days of incandescent bulbs. And speaking of incandescent bulbs, this bulb gives that same warm glow that the traditional bulbs had. the frosting gives a softer glow than the harsh clear filament type. i bought this bulb to go into my desk lamp and it works perfectly well. there is no flickering or any issues in that sense. The bulb is made from glass and not the poorer quality LED bulbs made from plastic, and the glass globe illuminates. There isn't a white gap like the others, which gives a full angle of illumination. This is a warm tone bulb, not cold white. It's the same colour and tone as the traditional bulbs. I will be purchasing again, well hopefully not in a long time to replace these but for others in my home.

I bought this bulb for my new IKEA standing lamp in the living room and it's perfect. I've been using it for about a week now, and I really like the warm, cozy light it gives off. It's exactly what I was hoping for and makes the room feel a lot nicer.

What can I say it’s a light bulb and it works. I bought it with the specific expectation that it would produce light, and my expectations were met.

Nice quality easy to fit

Bought it for an outside lamp on my front door. When the lamp arrived it only required 45 w bulb. So not used it yet. Would have preferred this one though

Nice warm appearance, smooth light distribution. Very pleasing to look at. Can't comment on longevity as I haven't had them that long, but will update the review if and when they do finally give up the ghost although I have purchased Philips LED bulbs in the past that are still going some 3-years later.

It is Philips, do I need to say more? They are King in lights. The best colour/ luminosity ratio. I love the GX53 type, it gives a nice spread in lighting. Doesn't matter how good or bad the lamp is. If you have the right ampoule like this one, you can't go wrong.
