I was dubious about this tape. I've tried other brands with no luck. There were no instructions included so I found a similar product on YouTube and watched the video showing how to apply this around my bathtub. The most important thing I got from the video was to make sure the area you're working with is clean and dry. Installation was easy and the end result is great! I do make sure to dry the tape off after the shower's been used. It's been a month since I applied this. So far no discoloration, it's sticking to the shower walls. I'm very pleased.

I have had good luck with this product in the past, but I only used it on straight lines, like in front of the tub. It has been on a couple years now and never come unstuck. Today I used it around the toilet, and even after wiping down the ceramic and the floor first with rubbing alcohol, the tape popped off in the front. It simply will not stay stuck through the curve. Also, 11 feet might seem like plenty, but A roll doesn’t go very far at all.

Used this product around a toilet that didn't have a seal. I cleaned the floor and toilet very well and dried completely. Porcelain can collect condensation quickly so I wiped it down just before starting. I hit it with a hairdryer after it was all done while pressing it down to improve the seal. Go slowly! The adhesion is wicked good and even though it can be repositioned, it is incredibly quick to bond. Pull off a few inches of backing as you go. As I worked around the front of the bowl at the curve, the tape flipped up at the seam. I kept going around then went back and pushed the flipped up part onto the floor. Stretch the tape as needed as you go to prevent it from gathering. I put the end cuts behind the toilet which is very close to the back wall. I really couldn't do much about the overlapping pieces because it's a tight fit but it's adhering fine and nobody will see it. If the adhesion holds through the use from this household of 7 and doesn't yellow, I'll be a happy camper. I have another toilet and a bathtub to seal and have high expectations.

When this was first put down it made my toilet look very nice and neat a plus for me. But now the front has come up and some of the side. My husband is going to try to fix this to make it look very nice again, but it’s not sticking as well. It’s coming up on the sides too. We have some left so we’re going to try this again. He cleaned it and let it dry before putting it down, but this has happened. Was hoping this was going to work because I do not want to have to use caulking. It doesn’t look as neat to me as this tape, but we’ll see. As far as putting it down my husband said it was easy to do.

If you have a bathtub that is rusting around the edges, this is a great product for you. It's easy to use, just peel and stick, plus you can pick different coloros. This is very effective in covering up any openings due to rust. The adhesive is strong enough to hold as long as the surface is cleaned first and free of oils and grime.

A little hard to get it looking nice when going around a toilet or sink. But I love the colour, and it gets really stuck on there after a day. I feel like it seals well, but it shouldn’t replace a base layer of caulking.

Very functional. Looks great for the first year after application. You will need to replace after then though. Sticks well and even shower water won't hurt it.
