Easy to setup, great range, excellent speeds and has some good features!
The AP22 arrived safely, and it come nicely packed inside a well-illustrated retail box. Along with the access point you get a mains power adapter with a UK plug attachment, mounting bracket, ethernet cable, and a quick start guide. The access point is a compact little unit and not much bigger than a smoke alarm. It can be installed on the wall or ceiling using the included mount, I chose to install it on the upstairs ceiling in the middle of our house for maximum coverage. I powered mine using the PoE interface as I have the appropriate switch in my loft and its nice that you don’t have to use the mains adapter. The supporting software is a big part of devices like this one and I’m pleased to say both the phone app and web portal are some of the best I have used. Not only is it super easy to get the access point up and running but everything went really smoothly, and I didn’t encounter any issues, you just need to make sure its plugged into the internet before you can begin setup and then follow the on-screen guide to configure it. Mine needed an update before it was ready, but this didn’t take long. I assume anyone buying a device like this will know most of the ins and out of its features, but it supports both the 2.4 and 5Ghz networks using Wi-Fi 6, you can mesh three of them together to create a larger Wi-Fi area, each AP supports 75 devices, it features MIMO and also a guest network option. A static IP can be configured or left on automatic mode, you can adjust options like the channel width, channel, and the transmit power for both 2.4 and 5Ghz networks although there is only a few channels to choose from and the 5Ghz doesn’t support the 160Mhz channel width (20/40/80Mhz only). While it doesn’t have a huge amount of configuration options, it does cover most of the basics. The coverage of just a single access point is very good, it easily covers the whole of my house and garden and in most areas I get the full 500mb internet speed when I’m using my laptop or S22 Ultra. You can view statistics on who’s connected to the network and view/block certain types of content they are using it for such as shopping, gaming, education, adult content, etc. You can also create a Guest Portal with a welcome message and terms which users will have to agree to before they join your network its used in a more commercial environment. Overall, I think aruba’s entry-level Wi-Fi 6 access point is excellent, it works well, and at around £140 (at time of writing) it represents good value for money. It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and feel its easily worth the full five stars, buy with confidence!

Really fast setup, great performance
Setup of this Access Point really was quick and easy, only taking me a few minutes to setup a protected WiFI network for employees and a Guest network with custom captive portal. Although setup is simple, the AP is fully features so you can optimise the radios, control bandwidth etc. Performance is excellent, modern laptops and phones connected on WiFi 6. These AP can be unobtrusively wall or ceiling mounted, unlike a home AP which come bristling with antennas, business users will cover a space with multiple AP to avoid employees wasting time trying to keep a connection. A power-pack with UK mains plug and short ethernet cable are supplied, along with a click-in ceiling or wall mounting kit. It's also possible to use PoE with structured cabling. Remote management of APs on a site is quite easy using the app; this gives access to all the settings plus you can view bandwidth use, sites visited, block connections from devices etc. Price seems to be in the £125 to £150 range, which for the performance and features seems good value for anyone looking to setup business-grade WiFi.

Well designed and easy to set up
The device is well made and feels secure. The front section is plastic but the rear section with the access ports is metal. There are 3 ports: power ethernet USB C Easy to set up, which was a relief as I normally find these type of devices too technical. However, once i'd looked over the set up guide it was straight forward. You do have to download an app and create an account with username and password. After which you'll receive an email to verify your account. You then add security to the account via SSID name creation and password. The app does provide some good information regarding what is connected and how much bandwidth each device is using and if it's using 2Ghz of 5Ghz. This is a good device for keeping control of a small business network. Used in an office setting it will provide a level of security and control over access to your network.

An excellent bit of kit that improves coverage, control and security, straight forward too
This is a versatile and efficient wifi access point that can be used for business, schools or in the home to improve wifi network , improve WiFi weak spots and drop out areas and provides better security and control over access. It's straightforward and easy to set up and comes with the easy to follow guidelines and power supply needed to set it up. The unit itself is small , sleek and compact and can be placed where needed or mounted on a wall , shelving in an area of choice. It gives you more control over your WiFi network and improves performance too so it's a win win and is a definite improvement and easy to set up. At £176 it's an expensive piece of kit but once it's set up it's done and should serve you well for years , so in my opinion we'll worth the investment in the long term. A good quality bit of kit.

Ethernet level speeds over WiFi
Super fast reliable AP. One of the easiest AP's I've ever set up, you'll be up and running in no time. Rock solid and stable and able to handle multiple connections with ease. It pretty much let's me max out my 1Gbps internet connection over WiFi which is insane. The WiFi link speed is faster than all the ethernet connections in my house that are capped at 1Gbps as multi-gigabit hardware is still relatively new and super expensive. The main advantage with the AP is that it can handle multiple high throughput WiFi connections so the AP is no longer the limiting factor in the speeds you're getting.
