Something with gold+ or Platinum rails should do. 7) Use an add-in USB PCI-E card rather than built in USB on the motherboard. 8) Nuclear option would be a power conditioner where all studio related electronics (computer, interface, amp etc.) are plugged into. You can also mess around with shielded computer cases I guess. Never heard of anyone doing that though. And stop using wifi if possible. Also turn off your phone or keep it nowhere near your setup. What you are hearing when you hear buzz/hum is radio interference from 50hz/60hz power such as the power supplies, as well as radiometric interference form things like cell phones and even radio stations. But most of it is from local mains power. If your power is exceptionally noisy and the interface is very unshielded then there is not a hwole lot you can do other than get a better interface and a power conditioner. **Q: can i use the two inputs at the same time? i had the cheaper level model of this and it wouldn't let me** A: Yes you can. While you don't state what cheaper model you are referring to, some only have a single input channel. This unit has 2 input channels and 4 output channels. The 2 input channels can definitely be used at the same time, and by default they will map to a stereo pair of Channel 1 Left and Channel 2 Right. You can map them as you choose in your DAW if that isn't what you want. **Q: Does this come with software?** A: The package does not have any software with it. You need to go to this address to download drivers for Windows: https://www.music-group.com/brand/c/Behringer/downloadsand pick "Computer Audio" category, then "Audio Interfaces" sub-category, then Product "IMC204HD" These are just the drivers so Windows can use the interface. Once these are installed, the Behringer shows up as an audio playback and record device. Pretty much any software will work with it then. I use Audacity and Reaper. You can use the same address above, but select "UMC202HD" and download the apps for Windows, which includes Audacity and Podcast. And other folders with effects and such.. Register your product at this page: http://www.music-group.com/brand/behringer/support/product-registration Then you should receive an email with your registration code which you're supposed to be able to go to Tracktion.com and receive a full version of Tracktion for free. I haven't completed this step, but did track down the web pages. Lots of hoops, I'm afraid, as it looks like all the listed website addresses are out of date. These work. I like the unit and it really cleaned up my churches web stream. **Q: Will it work with OS X 10.11.3?** A: Working fine for me on OS X 10.11.3. No issues that I've encountered, just straight plug & play. ## Frequently Bought Together - Behringer U-Phoria UMC204HD Audiophile 2x4 USB Audio/MIDI Interface with MIDAS Mic Preamplifiers, 24-Bit/192kHz Resolution - Cable Matters 2-Pack Premium XLR to XLR Cables - 6ft, Male to Female Microphone Cable, Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) Mic Cord, Black - Audio-Technica AT2020 Cardioid Condenser Studio XLR Microphone, Ideal for Project/Home Studio Applications --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.fr/products/329054406-behringer-u-phoria-umc204hd-audiophile-2x4-24-bit-192-khz](https://www.desertcart.fr/products/329054406-behringer-u-phoria-umc204hd-audiophile-2x4-24-bit-192-khz) --- *Product available on Desertcart France* *Store origin: FR* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
