I have a big lathe and loads of "quite large" turning tools (Indexable and HSS), but I wanted a smaller set of Indexable tools for doing finer work to save having to grind HSS tools for general small work. I have used these on Aluminium, EN8 steel, cast iron and Brass so far and they work fine and give a good finish.
