## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used on hooks? Or is it only for D rings**
A: If the hook is rated as a secure towing point, then you could use it there. As a general rule, make sure the towing hook is stronger than the strap so that the strap breaks first if in case one of them is overloaded by accident. Since otherwise if the metal hook was to break it would fly off damaging surrounding things.
So do check if the hook is rated for more than 35000lb break strength.

**Q: Is this a snatch strap? Meaning is it meant to stretch and be pulled with slack in the line?**
A: Tow Strap=Made from Polyester and should not stretch.  Snatch Strap=Made from Nylon and should stretch, and not meant for towing.  They are not posting what this strap is made from and there is no such thing as a dual purpose strap.  Better to walk away than risk the hazards.

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: It is made in "China" recover should be less then 17,500 lb. Break strength minimum break strength of 35,000. Comes in storage bad, keep away from direct sun light, keep it clean, clean it if get mud etc. Hope this helps questions that you have.  Terry

**Q: 209towstraps.com sells these for $10 why you 3 x more expensive ?**
A: From what I see in their website, they say it's a 30,000lb strap for $10. They provide no certificate of break strength for the strap. It might as well be a 5000lb strap for that price, there's no way it's a 30,000lb polyester strap unless they are selling at a loss. Even the Tree Saver Recovery Strap 3" x 8' costs $14 on Amazon which I know is a really good price. So it's not us charging more, it's them selling at a loss or scamming you.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best I've Ever Had (Alaska Cold Weather Recovery)

As someone who drives an above-average amount during winter here in Fairbanks, Alaska, I've seen my fair share of vehicle accidents in all sorts of conditions. This strap is quite a lifesaver. The ability to loop it through itself and/or shackles reduces the amount of time I have to spend on the road, and in blackout conditions, it is bright and easy to see. It fits flawlessly over the multi-ball hitch on my truck, and hands down, this thing is heavy-duty. I have been fortunate enough to successfully recover 10+ vehicles, and the main strap has little to no wear. From cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans, it is perfect for the stress I put it through. I trust the strap more than most vehicle's tow points. The length is perfect for most instances, meaning I don't have to link it with other straps threatening the loops' integrity, and when it can be -40F outside, time is of the essence. Speaking of cold weather, it is worth pointing out that there has been no fraying or other damage that temperature can cause. I am writing this because I am thankful for the strap's performance in a recovery I performed tonight, which would've been a tow truck's nightmare. Everybody was safe, sound, and back on the road, and it couldn't have been done without this strap. Thank you for making a high-quality product. God bless.
