Replacement Filter Set for Culligan AquaCleer AC-30 RO System — 4-Pack Cartridges & Membrane (Filters Only, No Housings)

First off, these fit the Culligan AC-30 and work with that system. Replacement is pretty simple, the issue for me is the tubing connectors on the unit, they always seem to leak after you move the unit around to get the filters out. I had no issues with the new filters fit. Took about 15 min to complete. Prior to install I did rinse the carbon filter for several minutes to flush out the dust. Don' know if it is necessary but I did rinse, or at least ran water through the others, prior to install just make sure there weren't any debris or manufacturing goop on them.

Why didn't I know about these sooner? I was paying Culligan an arm and a leg to maintain my RO until I learned it was easy to replace these myself. The filters fit my Culligan system just like the originals and it's not too complicated to install. Just watch a few YouTube videos and you'll be off and running, The water flow great with these filters, tastes great, and tests show they are doing a great job of filtering the water. So glad I learned about these.

These filters work perfectly in my Culligan system. The polishing filter that goes directly before the spigot posed an interesting challenge as my old one used 1/4" line and this one takes 3/8" water line, but it was an easy enough fix with some 3/8" water line and 1/4" to 3/8" push connection adapters from the hardware store to splice this filter in (now I have the ability to easily use either a 1/4" or 3/8" filter with very little effort). I'm happy and when it comes time to change filters again, I'll likely purchase this same exact product again.

Easy replacement. Good price. TDS went from 283 with old filter/membrane to 91 within 4 hours and about 2 gallons of flush. 24 hours and about 4 gallons later TDS WAS 38. Water tastes Much better as well. Membrane is about 1/2” short but fit firmly and should not impact performance.

Clean clear water

While these filters appear to be the same quality as the name brand filters, they simply do not filter well. I purchased a water test meter and tested my water after one year. It was still doing great at 7 ppm. I tested it again at two years and it was 12 ppm which is still good, but I decided to change to the new filters anyway. I then waited a week and tested the water. It was 67 ppm. I have tested a few times since and still get around 67 ppm. While it is an improvement from the 332 ppm that the incoming water tests at, it still is not in a range that is considered to be safe. The only posssible answer that I can come up with is that these are low quality filters.

I have an older Culligan AC 30 aqua clear from. 2001. I called Culligan last week and they wanted 317 dollars plus HST for the same filters that I got on amazon for 69 bucks took 10 minutes to put together in the system. Culligan is insane. Perfect fit!!!!!

As mentioned by other reviews, I had to cut a small piece off the membrane filter to make it fit properly in my H-83EC system. The sediment filter is not required for that system, therefore I did not use it. Otherwise, the product works as advertised and big savings when compared to similar products sold by Culligan.

The product description says that it is compatible with Culligan AC30. This is not true, at least not for the AC30 that I have (bought from Culligan in 2002) and I would imagine that there should be only one type of AC30. The three filters, well really the two longer ones, as the third shorter one does not go into any enclosures, do fit into the AC30 reverse osmosis enclosure. The membrane does not fit, it is too long, about 1 cm too long (compared to the other two filters). I am returning the product and, naturally, I am disappointed as I wasted time buying, trying to install and now returning it. I think I saw (after buying) that others noticed the same issue with the membrane. I am somewhat puzzled by the issue. Perhaps there are different versions of Culligan AC30...? However, if this were to be the case, I would expect a helpful seller to point it out and help the buyers to select the correct one. I now looked at other AC30 membranes sold on Amazon and a few of them provide the dimensions that are about 1 cm shorter from the one in this set.
