I already have a Teo pilgrim diffuser for my living space and am very satisfied with it. So I decided to get the Sofia for my bedroom since it’s a smaller area and wanted to try another product from Pilgrim. I really like the fact that it does not need any water and is super easy to assemble and to use. It does make a little bit of sound when operating but you have to be really close to it to even notice. The design is beautiful and the materials are of high quality. I like the fact that it comes with a second reservoir to interchange oils without cleaning. Overall another awesome product by Pilgrim. Five stars all around. I would definitely suggest to my friends and family and will purchase more for myself.

LAST UPDATE (I promise): After being contacted by customer service after being highly disappointed with my original unit, I received a replacement that works much closer to what I was expecting. They seemed genuinely interested in the problems with the first unit and welcomed the video I had sent to document the issue I was having. So although the original unit wasn't a good fit, the one I have now is great. I must say that the customer service given to me was EXCELLENT!!! UPDATE-I'm taking away my original rating and changing it to 1. One of the glass oil holders already broke the first time I cleaned it! I was being gentle, because of course it's glass. I swear I barely put any pressure on it with a tissue and it cracked. So irritated. Plus, the noise it makes is getting louder each day. I should have just stuck with the plastic units. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I invested in this because I kept reading how much better glass diffusers were than plastic ones. I've been using in for 2 days now, and it works perfectly fine, but I have to say I thought I'd see much more of a difference from what I was using before. Here's what I've found so far: Pros: Seems to be well made Design is nice Packaged well Works as it's supposed to so far Cons: You seem to have to put A LOT of oil in, much more than the 10-20 drops it recommends, to get the scent to be noticed while you're in the same room. I still haven't found the right amount, but I for sure will need to bigger bottles of oil rather than the standard smaller ones I usually used with my plastic ones. This is probably the biggest let down with this product. I expected more. Definitely needs an Off switch. If you turn it to the left, it goes off, but it's hard to tell when there's no "click" or indication that it's really off. The noise that other people have noted I've noticed as well. It's not terrible or overwhelming, but you can definitely hear the motor running, You turn the knob to the right to adjust the strength of the stream, but again, there's no gauge or level noted anywhere, so you can't really tell if you're turning it up to the middle...the maximum...

I bought 2 sets of Sofia where one of them is a gift. The finishing of this product is great and easily blend into furniture. It's pretty convenient that it would switch off in 2 hours as we are not suppose to continuously inhale essential oil no matter how pure and good your essential oil is. Sofia comes with 2 glass reservoirs, I leave the other one untouched to serve as backup. It's just me. Some will use both for switching different essential oil. I must say the after sales service is top notch. Email response is fast and extremely helpful. There is always room for improvement I believe. The 2 units were packed in a master carton and it would be better if some carton filler is being used for the empty spaces. Having said that, both units were arrived in good condition. Feature wise, I would like the knob to have some sort of a click to distinguish on / off instead of listening to the pump. Overall it's a great product. Great finishing and look elegant, functioning well as a nebulizer.

Another "form over function" diffuser. Was so excited about this one that I even bought 2. Got great reviews, looks very modern with a clay and real wood design........but that's all form. The actual function of this diffuser is subpar at best. Very Very noisy. Let me state this again. This diffuser is Very Very noisy. When all is said and done, a diffuser is supposed to enhance the environment of calm and tranquility. This diffuser has an unacceptably noisy motor/pump and the actual glass that makes up the diffuser (the body and the top) are not made with any skill and so the top rattles the entire time on the top of the diffuser body. All in all, the purpose of a diffuser is to create an environment and that ultimately requires function over form. You always want to hope to get both but in this case this was a complete waste of money....... And now I have two of them......

The Sofia diffuser is my first Nebulizing diffuser and I will never go back to the water ones! The experience is so much more pure, potent, and therapeutic! I use it in my Massage Therapy office and my clients walk in exclaiming how great it smells in my treatment room. I took it to a friends house to show them the comparison between the their water diffuser and the Sophia. They were amazed! I love the mood enhancing light and it is just all around gorgeous! I will be purchasing one or two for my home in the future! Highly recommended. I received an email from Pilgrim checking in to see how things were going with it. That was very kind and thoughtful.

I purchased this for a birthday gift for my Wife. She had read online reviews that ranted and raved of how great this "waterless" diffuser worked. It also stated that it was rated the best out of all the others available on the market. We gave it our own try, and noticed that it didn't seem to be operating properly. Not knowing how it exactly works, I decided to give it a few days to really see. After day 3 it still wasn't working. I opened the lid to investigate, and couldn't tell what might be the issue. All we knew is that our previous diffuser that used "water" worked much better than this one. I also noticed that one of the screws that holds it together was severely rusted vs the other 2 screws. I doubt that this had anything directly to affect the way it operates, but it was odd. I contacted Amazon, and they jumped to make it right immediately. Just like they usually do. I ordered another diffuser, it was delivered that day, and the inoperable diffuser was sent back for a full refund. We setup the new diffuser, and it works so far as we expected it to. None the less, much better than the previous one. We're going to give this one a week or so of use, and see if it lives up to our expectations.

I normally do not leave feedback, but have to say I am thoroughly deliighted with the Sofia Nebulizer Diffuser from the Pilgrim Collection. It has been the perfect addition just in time for the holidays. I love the calming effect of the soft and soothing light. The fact that it comes with 2 glass reservoirs makes switching essential oil blends quick and easy. I use one reservoir to greet family and friends and one for my own personal needs. I also might add the diffuser is very quiet and easy to clean. I love the simplicity of it, the ceramic top and wood base complement one another nicely. The Sofia is a keeper and a definite 5 stars in my book.

Highly disappointed and an eye opener about business practices, there seems to be no interest in deleviring an actual product as adervertised which would address the noise level of the air pump. The product started after a few weeks to get annoying loud to the point that I opened the housing. This product is advertised as a premium item with high price tag. What I found inside the housing is cheap material. The isolation is just cheap foam wrapped around the air pump and taped, some cables that's it. From a premium product with that price I expect high end isolation material, better cables etc. Conclusion this item is not worth $15. The company makes a lot of margin on that product. How the product is advertised is totally misleading. The exterior design is nice, but also does not justify the high price. This can be manufactured in China for cheap $. The competition has cheaper products with a significant lower dB level output. The design might not be as appealing as of this one, but believe me you waste your money on it.
