Grear radio, sound better than expected, probably because Pioneer speakers was fitted before. Old radio was in the 70euro range but speakers I setup was Pioneer. When replace old radio to this one (Pioneer DMH-A340DAB), could not belive quality of the sound. Have 4 speakers and 1 SUB in my van, there option on the radio to connect another 4 speakers, which I definetly will do.

Bought as a double DIN unit for my Dodge ram. Custom wiring was required - Plugged in and all worked ok. I did not use the supplied cage, but had to buy the RAM specific mounting kit. The USB car play was a bear to set up. Eventually got that running after having to update the firmware on the head unit. Sound quality is great on built in amp (head unit) on decent speakers. DAB quality is patchy, despite buying the expensive pioneer DAB antenna and affixing it correctly. But is acceptable on long journeys. DAB was a little fiddly to find the setting to autotune. Overall the unit is excellent, Bypassing the "parking brake" signal to allow phone link was easy. Green to ground. Sound is good, Fast response, however the major flaw - After placing a phonecall the bluetooth bricks, If you were streaming music, It would stop and you would have to physically reset the unit by either powering off the unit or pressing the hard reset. I would also expect the unit of this price and quality to at least pick up time and date from the FM/DAB and not have to manually set it. Coming from cheap android units to this is a little bit of a change. I also find the unit a little dim on light days. I would recommend this unit, if you can live with the blutetooth flaw. Thats where it looses a star.

Wanted to upgrade my FM radio for some time and have been looking around for a little while. I saw this and decided to purchase as I really wanted to avoid a cheap head unit. Really straight forward to install in a VW Golf mk4. The unit comes with a cage, and perhaps I was luck but I could connect to the existing wiring in the car. I really only wanted the unit for the DAB radio, and so far it has been faultless.

Basic functions and screen display was quite poor compared to other units similar. Only had it about 3 weeks and had to return as the Bluetooth for calls was so bad you couldn't understand the person calling. Contacted pioneer and they sent a new microphone plus another one I purchased and still the same. Pioneer thought maybe the Bluetooth module inside was faulty so as it was till under amazon returns window It was returned . Wasn't too impressed with it overall

Removed the old broken tape deck from my T5 which had pretty much turned to rust, purchased this to fill the hole. Easy to fit and wire in, good sound too.

I chose a Pioneer as a recognised brand to replace my fully functional Kenwood 7200DAB receiver but I was so disappointed with this Pioneer unit. I wanted an upgrade to touchscreen etc. Where do I start.... 1) No FM/AM signal received at all. (Put my Kenwood radio back in and perfect signal). 2) Weblink did not work whatsoever. 3) DAB signal was hit and miss. (Again perfect with my original Kenwood unit). 4) Nobody could here me on any telephone calls (worked well with the Kenwood). Whether I just had a faulty unit (which happens) I don't know, but with so many faults I did not want to trust a replacement and have to go through the return route again. My Kenwood 7200DAB unit has now been reinstalled and the Pioneer unit Item returned and refund requested.

Great Stereo, easy to install, never done it before but fairly straight forward to do. Great sound but remember to buy a DAB antenna as it doesn't come with one in the box

Was looking for mainly DAB radio. This unit is very good quality for the money. One downer, weblink only works with iOS 14 or above. That’s the high-end of iPhone. All else works very well

Ich nutze den Pioneer DMH-A340DAB nun seit einiger Zeit und bin rundum zufrieden. Der Einbau im 2-DIN-Schacht war problemlos und die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und stabil. Das Touchdisplay reagiert schnell und ist auch bei Sonneneinstrahlung gut ablesbar. Besonders überzeugt hat mich die DAB+ Empfangsqualität – klarer Sound ohne Rauschen. Auch Apple CarPlay und Android Auto funktionieren zuverlässig und machen die Smartphone-Integration sehr komfortabel. Der Klang ist für ein Multimedia-Radio dieser Klasse wirklich stark und lässt sich über den Equalizer gut anpassen. Bluetooth-Verbindungen sind stabil, Telefonate klar verständlich. Fazit: Ein modernes, leistungsstarkes Autoradio mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ideal für alle, die Wert auf Konnektivität, guten Sound und einfache Bedienung legen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Ist es Perfekt? Nein. Ist es den Preis wert? Voll und klar. Guter Tipp! Manche Funktionen funktionieren nur bei angezogener Handbremse. Zum Beispiel, wenn du deinen Bildschirm vom Handy streamen möchtest. Und ich glaube auch ein neues BT verknupfung herstellen. Aber was, wenn du die Navigation streamen möchtest? Oder ein beifahrer hat die verbinden mochtest? Die Handbremse auf der Autobahn angezogen zu lassen, ist schlecht für den Spritverbrauch und damit Umwelt. Als umweltbewusster Autofahrer kannst du den Anschluss der Handbremse also auch irgendwo an Masse legen. Und versprich Gott, dass du während der Fahrt keine Videos schaust. Das Streaming erfolgt übrigens nicht über Bluetooth (was einigermaßen logisch ist, da Bluetooth für niedrige Datenraten konzipiert wurde; der (niederländische) Erfinder kann sicher darüber lachen, dass es heute tage hauptsächlich für Musik verwendet wird), sondern über USB.
