What hanging feeder do you recommend to feed these in? Can the hanging feeder be hung near a tube feeder with black oil sunflower seeds in it?

A domed one with drainage on the bottom. If there aren't any drill 1/8holes all around the bottom.you can hang it but not to close to the tube feeder. Animals can stratel the feeders and make a messI use a rubbermaidbird feeder and mix 60/40 mealworms with bird seed but don't use black oil sunflower seeds to much oil with clot the openings for the birds to get the mealworms. How do you get past the "ick" factor?

I never had an ick factor. They are dried out - not alive & squirming. It's like I'm sprinkling anything else into the feeder for my Mockingbirds & Robins.

How and where to store freeze dried meal worms?

All freeze dried food, including meat, can be stored for several years if kept in a sealed (zip lock) bag at an even temperature. The higher the temperature, the less time they will keep, but at around 70 degrees F. they would keep for 5+ years. The birds, however, eat them up too fast to test the longer shelf life.
