Great pack. Not light.
This is very well made and thought out. I am fully satisfied, and like the warranty. It will hold up longer, but I will be carrying more weight for the sturdiness and features like included rain cover and full-on removable daypack. Consider where you fall on that tradeoff. Quite comfortable for me packed to about 40 lbs. Can easily hold more, and carry it well; it just works you harder.

Lots of pockets and comfortable.
I'm 5'11", 150 lbs., and found that the L/XL size fits well. The things I like best about this pack are (1) the removable day pack, (2) comfortable fit, (3) lots of pockets for storage, (4) easy-access side pockets for water bottles, and (4) built-in rain fly. The quality is good, and the weight of the pack seems fine to me. I carry the BV450 bear cannister and it fits fine in this 70L pack. I'm able to get all of my gear, food and water into this pack for trips up to five days. My fully loaded pack with food for 5 days and 3 quarts of water weighs 38 lbs. This pack handles the weight quite well and feels very comfortable. I also own a Gegory Boltoro 75L pack which I like, but it's wearying out. The Boltoro has a little more space in the main compartment, but other than that, I like the Osprey better because of the more-comfortable fit, better day pack, and easy-access water bottle pockets. I highly recommend this Osprey backpack.

Great hiking/ camping backpack
I use this backpack about 3 to 4 times a year if not more. I have no real complaints about it yet needs my needs perfectly definitely has a lot of storage space. If I wanted a better experience I'd probably just have to get a singular large pouch backpack. I love the style, it weighs just fine, the straps are infinitely adjustable. Like I got a really good value for my money

Carries weight well. Everything has been well thought out.
My fifth backpack and by far my best I have purchased. Quality and functionality is great. Carries weight better than others I have had.

Gear haulers dream
I've had several osprey packs as well as other brands and have been backpacking for 50 years. I am actually replacing a 15 year old Aether AG 85L with this pack. The updates they have made on the suspension and the additional pockets made me make the plunge. I did try this pack and others including the Atmos 65L with 40lbs. The Aether fits me better and carries that weight much better than the Atmos. I never had a complaint regarding my old Aether but the suspension and adjustability on the 70L Plus is much better. I also have a much lighter 60L pack for higher mileage and packing light. If I am over 30lbs the Aether will be the choice. The comfort and organization are top notch. If you carry camera or fishing gear along with all the normal backpacking essentials then this will be hard to beat. -pockets on the front are larger than I thought. Lots of volume. -Improved mesh shove it panel. Tougher than previous - daypack may be pretty useful. holds a bladder and big enough for some layers/rain gear, lunch, first aid kit and small camera -feels very tough all around as is typical for Osprey -pull loops for water bottle sleeves is a nice add -great adjustability. I am 5-10 175lbs (19.5" torso) and got the s/m. Fits great and does not ride too high -Awesome warranty -Niggles. 1)The waist belt pockets are hard to close once opened. Pretty much need two hands. Osprey needs to modify this to make them easier to close when on the go. 2) I wish the rain cover had a strap to come around the back panel in case of high winds. 3) would prefer that the main pack divider was completely removable. The pack is too good to deduct a star for those. I'd give it a 4.5 if I could. This pack has more features than some need. I looked hard at the 65L Aether with the same suspension. I'll carry the extra 1/2 lb for the extra organization and daypack. Some may want simpler and slightly lighter. Ultra-lighters need not apply of course, but if you like your comforts and are a photog or fisherman it's a great pack. Carrying 35 lbs or more make the extra pack weight disappear in comparison to much lighter packs . Go try one on along with other packs with your normal load and an extra water haul. It's rock solid.

Great backpack!
Amazing Backpack!

High quality. I like the access to the entire pack from the front, but I feel the frame and airflow of the Atmos AG is superior to this one.
