It has a physical power switch, which is kind of nice — no holding down a combo pair/power button to annoy you when it starts looking for something new to pair with because you held the button for too long or not long enough, and no app to download. I’ve been listening to it all morning using different apps, and the Music app without any audio issues. It gets its power from the dock connection, so no charging, which is a bonus! I can get rid of the rechargeable Bluetooth receiver plugged into one of the AUX ports. The startup and shutdown sounds ARE…different.
