## Description

I've been making ceramic piggy banks since 1998. That was when I made a piggy bank for my 8 year-old daughter. She loved it.... and so did everyone else. I spent several years making them as gifts for friends & family. In 2006, I decided to go into business & set up a stall at the world famous Pike Place Market in Seattle, WA. The following year, I quit my "day job," and devoted myself full-time to making these wonderful piggy banks. I make each one completely by hand, so every pig is unique. Each piggy bank comes with a collectible coin dated with the current year so that you can always remember where & when you got it. This little piggy will become a treasured keepsake for years to come.

Gave my daughter a piglet. We love it. Started a tradition of opening that Piggy every year on the day after Christmas. It has become a great way to appreciate hand made goodness, while talking about basic savings and giving. I want another one.
