Can you hook this directly to a garden hose?

Yes. An adaptor comes with the power washer that attaches to the washer that allows you to use your garden hose. It has been to cold in Maine for me to try using the hose.

Can the washer be connected to an existing water hose?

I don't think so, just checked again but see no place to connect. But the advantage of this washer is that you DO NOT need a hose. I fill a bucket with water and take it where I don't have a hose and I find that very convenient. Hope this info helpsl

Does this model come with 2L bottle adapter

No, it doesn't come with this model but it is available for purchase. The model number for the bottle cap connector is WA4038.
