Yo lo tengo instalado en la bomba de mi alberca a un motor de 1.5cv. sobre la cual necesito tener control con un temporizador fácil, accesible y versátil, ya que cuando activo la calefacción la bomba requiere estar más tiempo encendida, y eso no se facilita en un timer mecánico escondido entre plantas. El hardware es suficientemente bueno, la carcaza es fuerte, quizá pudieran mejorar un poco la calidad de conectores y el interruptor, pero entiendo que esto elevaría el costo. La conexión no tuvo problema, y la configuración inicial fue fácil y sin problema, de hecho no usé el instructivo (que también está bien hecho y es completo útil para quién no tiene experiencia en estas conexiones). Identificó la señal de Wifi sin problema y estando lejos del router (sólo opera con 2.4 mhz). El software o la aplicación es lo que deja un poco que desear, el algo que con poco dinero se pudiera mejorar, se ve "corrientita", pudieron hacerla por medio de la app de Tuya o algo mejor hecho. El temporizador "normal" no ha sido constante en su inicio y fin, no es preciso, inicialmente me preocupó el tema, pero finalmente lo configuré con la opción astronómica y ya pude hacer que funcionara sin contratiempo. Ha sido para mi la solución de mi problema a un costo bajo. Vamos a ver cómo está de durabilidad, pero no creo que sea problema. Un tema que resolví con la experiencia fue el emparejamiento con Alexa, la app no tiene skill en México, pero se soluciona cambiando el origen de tu alexa, accediendo a la skill en la configuración en inglés y regresándote a tu configuración inicial, algo que ya había hecho con otros dispositivos, y me ha funcionado. So "YES" it will for a water heater **Q: If you want to separately control a pool pump and a pool heater can two of these be installed and then be controlled separately from the app?** A: Can confirm. there are two switched outputs. Both outputs are controlled by the app together not separately. Switch on both outputs come on, switch off both outputs go off. Would be nice if the app controlled both outputs separately. **Q: If i want to control 4 devices with this, how many units do i need? pool pump (220v), pump for sheers (220v), pool cleaner (220v) and pool light (120v** A: It is possible to have this control two circuits. But, both circuits will be on or off at the same time based upon the timer. There is no way to say turn on circuit 1 but leave circuit 2 off or turn on #2 at a different time. You need to have the first circuit bridged to the terminals to provide power to the timer circuits. You will need to bring in a primary and neutral (or secondary) for the first circuit (that which will power the timer) and at least a primary for the secondary circuit. You will return a switched primary for each of the two circuits. You should be able to get away with only two controllers, if your devices will be OK working in pairs. As an example, I use mine to turn on my primary and cleaner pump and run them at the same time. But, if you need independent control over each device, which I'm not sure would be the case for some of these, then you would need up to 4 of these controllers. I'd combine the pool pump and cleaner pump as they likely always work together, but not sure what the pump for sheers would need to do and whether it would need to be on at the same time as the pool light. I have at times forget to turn off the pump before I leave. This way I can be assured the pump is in fact off from home. Has a handy push button to turn it on and off even without WiFi with a red indicator to show if it is on and a blue indicator to show WiFi is on this switch will handle a 1/2hp 220v deep well pump. The cost of this switch is less than a trip back to my cottage to turn the water off. I can also use it to turn on the water remotely if a friend or family member goes there while I am not there. I get frequent power outages and knock on wood so far this device has never needed reprogramming which is more than I can say for many other WiFi devices. The steel case is well made and apparently can be used outside. Although I have it mounted in my utility room inside.
