Preparing for the Annual 'Tag' Competition!
Everything does as advertised except the angle guide. It sucks and is much easier to sharpen without it. The stones have been through multiple blades and still do just fine. If you want to sharpen using stones, this is a good option.

Good for beginners looking to learn
So ive been using these for about a year now. For me, its been a good value for money spent on them. You cant expect much from ~$20 stones and the effectiveness also depends on the skill of the sharpener. I bought these as an absolute novice and it was a good investment to learn how to sharpen for cheap. I would not say these are high quality but is a good beginner quality. Im still going to continue to use them till I get better and feel I can move to a different professional stone like Shapton. I havent gotten razor sharp yet but ive gotten very sharp. One thing to note is definitely to let it dry completely for a few days after use. The first time I used it it had molded. Easy for me to clean up but just annoying.

good buy
great stones, seem durable, the helper is not as nice and neither is the base. The base does not stick to the surface as well, I recommend using a wet towel for better grip to the surface. The helper started wearing out after one sharpenning session (6 knives approx) and it did not work for pairing knives. The instructions were good but there are 2 objects i do not know what thwy are and how to use it.

Very good quality complete whetstone kit
Great quality sharpening stones. I have been using these and similar stones for years. They are reliable and last a while and give your knives a nicely honed edge. I tend not to use these down to wafer thin like some people do. I am a little lazy and if you use them a lot there comes a point where I have to decide to spend quite a while re-finishing the stones with the included stone flattener/refiner, but because they are nicely priced and I get a great deal of use out of them, sometimes I just opt for a new set rather than trying to maintain the stones. Dealers' choice I guess but I think getting a nice fat set of fresh stones is the better way to go. In any case, these stones are well worth the money and the process of sharpening your own knives is therapeutic and rewarding. Just be careful and learn how to use them. There is an abundance of how-to videos online.

Getting a kit for starters like me is great!
Fast delivery, great for me to start practicing on all the dull knives we have

Useless
The flattening stone is actually softer than the sharpening stones, so after a few uses it is impossible to make the stones flat again. Thought I could get away with some cheap stones and carefull use but apparently not. Would not recommend.

Rendu professionnel
la variété du grain des pierres permet d'affiler les couteaux aussi bien que lorsque neuf...et même peut-être mieux

Good product
Works very well. Watch videos online on how to use it and what type of steel and type of knife you have, cause getting the angle wrong with e.g Japanese vs European knives can dull your micro bevel more than sharpen it and mess up your blade angle. Also recommend getting a honing rod (research what kind for your knife) with this to do touch ups. Its not that hard to learn and I taught my 67 year old mom how to use it properly in 2 weeks.
