Just love this book. Grant's ideas are spectacular. I say go with the audio (CD) version because his energy, his voice and his message must be "heard" to make an impact. Ordinarily, the only writers I give five stars to are people like Herman Melville and Joyce Carol Oates. However, IN HIS FIELD Grant is hard to beat. He's articulate and refreshingly straight-on. No b.s. here. Literally, he "sold" me on his ideas (and I am following them, Grant!) I am a writer and artist. All my life I have been told that it is nearly impossible for a cutting-edge visual artist and new novelist to make a good living at what I do. I don't believe that any longer, thanks to Grant's coaching in this book. As a matter of fact, the more unique you are in your field, the more "different" and wild, the more likely you are to be successful because it's likely that you are passionate about what you do. And that's the key to everything: passion. If you believe in your product or service, your talent and your creativity, you can make it because you have what it takes to do anything - even selling what you believe in. A lot of artists think they are "selling out" when they're "selling" themselves. Even Emily Dickinson called publishing "the auction house of the mind." (Or did she say "block"? That would make more sense because the implication is that a published writer is a slave to the publishing industry.) The fact is that most of us cannot afford to split hairs about whether we are selling out or not. We have to make a living to support ourselves, our families, or any of the lives and causes we support (including our selves; it's all about taking responsibility). It's time, guys, to step up to the plate and make it happen. Grant is my coach of choice. I've always gotten a lot from Anthony Robbins, Wayne Dyer and other "success" gurus, but only two at this point take the lead for me: Eckhart Tolle (didn't you say that "NOW" is the only time to move forward, Grant?) and Grant Carbone. I'm sure Eckhart would smile at this. Their styles are completely opposite, but their impact is huge. The only thing I would change for Grant himself is, man, you gotta say your name more on your tapes. I'm almost done with the book and have recommended it to many people. I even bought the book (I got the original from the library) so I could loan it to friends. However, whenever I talked up The 10X Rule (until today) and people asked who wrote it, I couldn't tell them. That's right, Grant, I didn't know your name from listening to your book. Anyway, just thought you should know. Thanks for being in my life. You changed up my game plan tremendously. I.O.U. (Oh, wait, maybe you'd say I just paid with this glowing review!)XXX000 Review: From the Perspective of Entrepeneurs & Managers - I became a fan of Grant Cardone's when his show aired on National Geographic. I enjoyed watching him but figured it was a flash in the pan type of situation that since he only really recorded two shows that this was all of the value he really had to offer. I've since been engulfed with marketing materials from his organization and have remained intrigued by some of his opinions. I purchased this book for the kindle a few days ago and it's been an easy read, and difficult to put down. I really enjoy his perspectives on some of the problems we face as sales people, business owners, and managers. Many of his opinions are ones I share as I've built my company. Having started very early in my life in business, I found myself competing against those who had "head starts," that is, they were older, more experienced, and had a more established book of business to show off as they were making sales. What I lacked in examples, I made up for in drive and determination, and this has created a successful company. I told you that story to tell you this one . . . Grant takes it to an entirely different level. Putting goals at 10 times what you're really looking to achieve is not only radical, but it's good business. We're taught at young ages to set small, measurable goals. While this is good for employees and those looking for the 40 hour (ahem... 37.5 hour) work week, it doesn't work for the rest of us. We need to think bigger in order to achieve bigger things. We're taught to over-commit and under deliver (a client actually said that to me the other day) rather than over-commit and do everything we can to outperform that. Without the big thinking attitude, you're going to be left with the masses, in the middle class [middle class of thought, you'll learn], with the perception of happiness. This book is great for people who are self motivated but could use another jolt to get moving a bit faster again. Highly recommended so far!

"The 10X Rule: The Only Difference Between Success and Failure" by Grant Cardone is a book that offers a powerful and motivational approach to achieving extraordinary levels of success. Cardone's central premise is that setting goals and working at levels that are ten times higher than what you initially think is necessary is the key to breaking through limitations and achieving remarkable results. Cardone's writing style is energetic and direct, making it an engaging read for those looking for a no-nonsense guide to success. He emphasizes the importance of massive action, unwavering commitment, and an unrelenting work ethic. The book is filled with practical advice, anecdotes from his own life, and actionable steps for readers to implement in their own pursuits. One of the book's strengths is its focus on the psychology of success. Cardone encourages readers to overcome fear, set bigger goals, and develop a mindset of abundance. He highlights the value of persistence and the need to push through challenges and adversity. The 10X Rule is particularly beneficial for entrepreneurs, sales professionals, and anyone looking to excel in their career or business. Cardone's emphasis on sales and revenue generation may resonate more with individuals in these fields, but the overarching principles can apply to various aspects of life. However, it's important to note that Cardone's approach is not without its critics. Some may find his ideas overly aggressive or his tone too forceful. It's essential to adapt his principles to your own personality and values. In conclusion, "The 10X Rule" is a book that can be a catalyst for individuals who are ready to step out of their comfort zones and strive for exceptional success. Grant Cardone's passionate and assertive approach to achieving one's goals may not be for everyone, but for those who embrace his philosophy, it can be a life-changing and empowering read. Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur or looking to take your career to the next level, the book offers valuable insights and a unique perspective on success.

Its just basic things, like "You got to work hard to get to when you want and you got to send big goals" Basic things, after reading many business books this is one of the worst books. I did not even finish it. Don't make the mistake i made, i saw the bad reviews and still bought.
