It states that the controller stands uses a usb c port. will this charge an xbox elite series 2 controller as well? considering they are the same port

I was wanting to get this until I saw it requires you to use the battery pack it comes with. I have an elite series 2 and regular controller with rechargeable batteries. They would be useless with this. It's a nice organizer at the least.

I can't get my controller packs to charge is there some type of set up I need to do for them to charge?

Sometimes I needed to wiggle it around then it would charge. My charging packs ended up moving out of place though after a couple months.
