Initially called around local to find a repairman, few and far, $250-350 for the professional repair along with the inconvenience. Watched a YouTube video on how to make a repair, purchased the needles and thread from Amazon, maybe $15. Not easy fishing for the holes but apply patience and use of needle nose pliers...as good as new. Took about 75 minutes to make the repair. Also the needle appears not to be damaged or scared from the pliers.
