Clear, concise and a game-changer for kids
We have five of these books from Step-by-Step study skills and couldn't be happier with them. My homeschooled son is gifted but has executive function challenges that make writing and planning difficult. These books are written in such a well-thought-out manner, slowly introducing concepts with brief but meaningful exercises that allow kids to improve their skills slowly without overwhelm, which is so important when trying to keep their confidence up and learning in baby steps. Everything is broken down to be fool-proof. I use them as a main base for our literacy school work so that my son can become more adept with writing and understand the concepts of how to construct his ideas in writing. I hope the author makes a lot more of these types of books, they are so helpful to kids! They should be used in schools. I can see them being useful for teens and adults too who want to improve their skills in these areas.

Great for homeschool
My daughter was struggling with English as she used to go off on a tangent and write too much. Now she has a formula to go by. Great book!
