Size runs a little big. Excellence hat.
XL is my size. However, I had to use one filler because the size runs a little too big. Quality is very good and the hat holds its shape It’s a nice hat. Customers should order one size lower for perfect fit.

A Great Porkpie Topper Supporting A Tradition
As an adjunct to a lifetime spent in professional photography and small business management, I spent decades as a dedicated percussionist, first as a rock 'n' roll and R&B drummer, and then for most of the past four decades as a modern jazz thumper. During the years devoted to the jazz genre, working out Monk, Miles, or Coltrane riffs, trying my damnedest to approach the level of the great Philly Joe Jones (and mostly miserably failing), my trademark attire was a porkpie hat, ever-present at every gig, varying in size and color... but always porkpie... and always there... on the top of my head... like a counterweight to the mad rhythmic movement beneath it. During those years, I had to buy dozens of porkpies since many of them either ended up disappearing mysteriously during set breaks or wound up as a new fashion element in the wardrobe of one female "jazz devotee" or the other. I always had backup porkpies, of course, as I had grown to anticipate these predictable pate platter placement disappearances, even to the point of having backups to my backups. So much so that porkpie purchases were a regular factor in my monthly budget—the porkpie purchase part. And now that I'm retired from both clicking pics and "bangin' on the bongoes like a chimpanzee," I've retained the porkpie habit. But unlike yesteryears, I now purchase one or two porkpies per annum instead of budgeting monthly porky purchases. The lightweight hats for warm months are a given, easily defined, and easier to buy; but the colder months are a different story. With winter comes chilly winds and single-digit temps where I live, so porkpie pickups are carefully thought out. You want something functional, of course, weighty wool or heavy straw, tightly fitting to ward off the windy winters and chilly climes. And for this, the "Epoch Men's Premium Straw Porkpie Fedora Hat" is a perfect fit, so to speak. This is the second Epoch brand I've purchased and I like this second buy even more than the first porkpie pick. The heavy straw settles on my head snuggly yet comfortably, and the wide multi-colored hatband and its accentuating feather ensemble are both very nice touches. Any porkpie percussionist or grabby girlfriend would be proud to cock one back on one's head. I highly recommend the Epoch brand and predict plenty pretty penny porkpie purchases from Epoch.

Terrific project and packaging
Well worth the money! I purchased this skimpy brim diamond crown with a couple other hats. I ended up returning the other hats that came crushed in a box that was too small. This one however came perfectly shaped, perfect fit with its adjustable elastic band and it looks great. I’m going to order the other colors. Fantastic!

The perfect pork pie hat
This pork pie hat that just arrived fit me like a glove and would be delighted to buy another. I’d wear this one right into the fall season. Comfortable to wear and yes I like it enough to show it off. I can see this with my Gray suit it’s got true style and I have a lot of hats in my collection and it’s a sweet value for the dollar.
