AirTurn TAP Bluetooth Trigger Page Turner MIDI DAW App Controller for Drummers and Percussionists

The AirTurn Tap mounts easily to my iPad stand, just below the iPad. I've used it for one rehearsal and one gig. So far, so good. Using sticks, a tap on the pad turns the page as advertised. Definitely more convenient on drum set than having to tap with a finger or the foot trigger.

My 15yo could not figure it out. Just note that it defaults to air mode for apples, not for androids. you have to change the mode, and that is a tad tricky.Great for turning pages on my tablet, simply tap one of the pads for next page or the other for previous. Looks sturdy. and you could replace the sensor pads with other styles too.

Beware you cannot "tap" these pads and get a page turn. You really have to smack it hard, which causes a loud noise since the pads are hard and cheap. Totally unusable in a quiet setting and for anyone that doesn't want to destroy their wrists. I asked Support and there is no way to adjust this. So I am now using a kick trigger and that works fine, but of course I have wasted money on these cheap and useless pads. The mount is also cheap and pathetic. The main unit does work well, but was obviously designed to be used with pedals, not sticks.

This works well for me most of the time. I use it with an iPad Pro and ForScore. The unit has different modes and you need to be sure you are in the correct mode or hitting the pad will not turn the page in ForScore. I use modes 1 and 3. I check it carefully before each session or performance. ForScore has a 1/2 page turn feature which is really great for long continuous playing. I mark the music for the best point to activate the turn. I am still getting used to how much stick force is needed to activate a page turn.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I NEVER GOT THE RETURN SHIPPING LABEL I WAS PROMISSED 4 DIFFERENT TIMES.!!!!!!!!! This thing is a hassle to connect to my brand new galaxy tab S7. Bluetooth connecting is cumbersome and difficult and it frequently disconnects. I have never experienced bluetooth connection this difficult. The instructions are poorly written and difficult to follow. No troubleshooting section. You need to hit the pads too hard to trigger them, if you actually succeed in getting it paired. So they are definitely not silent as advertised. The mount is designed to damage the pipe you connect it to. They clearly didn't consult a drummer when designing it. I'm sending thing back today! Transferring all my my Church music to an iPad Pro and using the TAP to flip pages (I'm a drummer). Love it!

Works great and I have it installed on my hi hat stand with no problems so far!

So far, so good... I have to mount it on a mic stand all to itself, so the vibrations from the drum kit doesn't set this thing off. Had it mounted first near hi-hats mic, but vibrations started turning my pages like crazy! As long as you isolate it from stands near your kit, it's ok.

How much energy can an occasional tap on one of the pads consume? unfortunately this device consumes alot of power, even when off. chances are, you turn on your equipment and try to connect, it's already totally empty, or almost.Unreliable to use at a gig, unless you constantly connect it to a charger.the app to configure it is pretty unintuitive and the list-button on the bottom left is not even usable/programmable for anything.

Perfect answer to the page turning problem. The only issue is you can hear it when you hit it in a quiet environment.

Really clever device. My drummer loves it.
