INLAND ABS Filament 1.75mm, ABS 3D Printing Filament, Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.03 mm - 1kg Cardboard Spool (2.2 lbs) - Heat Resistant Orange ABS Filament

***5 star material, I'm just really bad at printing ABS.***I bought this to run some test pieces for a customer. I was thinking that because I've been printing PLA for years I could figure out how to print ABS. I was unfortunately wrong. Even running my hot end at 250 and my bed at 80 I got major warping, layer adhesion issues, and poor bed adhesion. I will fully grant the fact that my home made enclosure for my Ender 3 was likely the culprit for many of these issues though. If you know what you are doing this is probably a good choice.

Print quality is subjective and can be influneced by printer type and tunning. However after running 5 rolls of black ABS through my Voron 2.4 There have been no filamnet induced flaws. Zero layer adhesion issue using a PEI plate. Images are 4 bottom and 4 top layers with 4 walls.

I bought one spool and after repeated amazing prints ordered more. Same quality prints. It is becoming my go to brand and filament.

INLAND GRAY ABS - I don't write reviews but I had to for this product due to the great quality. I prefer ABS to all other filaments due to the strength, heat resistance and print ability and I have tried quite a few brands. This filament has great bed adhesion, doesn't warp, great layer adhesion, very low odor, no stringing. The color of the filament allows the layer lines to almost disappear. It has a satin type finish, not shiny like PETG and not flat like some PLA's. Ive had plenty of filaments that just don't print well after hours of trial and error and this isn't one. Just buy if you want a great printing strong filament. I love the way this ABS lays down and adheres to itself, I use 240 hotend, 100 bed, 5mm retraction, 3% fan and between 40mm/s - 90mm/s print speed.

We tested multiple brands. This wasn't the top, but it was the only one we found in purple, and it did the job. Here are the settings we used:Snapmaker 2.0 printerPainters tape with cheap hairspray for the surface (best result out of multiple methods tried)Bed Temp: 100 (110 & 105 work also, but if it works at 100, why go hotter?)Print Temp: 245 C (we tried 235 and 240 as well, but 245 gave us the best result)Top Thickness 1.92 mm (this turned out to be important—less than this resulted in tiny gaps in a wide, flat top surface)Infill Density 45% (yes, it's high—we tried 15% and 30% and wound up with gaps with other brands, we left this setting at 45 when we moved to the purple, so we can't say if lower infills will work with this brand or not)IMPORTANT: Enable Retraction, Enable Retract at Layer Change, Retraction Distance 1 mm (Direct Drive Nozzle), Retraction Speed 35 mm). These retraction settings seem to do a good job of reducing stringing.Build plate adhesion: None (the tape with cheap hairspray does the job for you; the cheap hairspray develops better surface texture than the good stuff).

First time printing with ABS and it went well. I printed 2 things and I had only one problem, layer adhesion isent very good. Will have to play with settings to see but I definitely get good prints for my first try.

It's closer to like, a pumpkin color lol. HOWEVER, it prints absolutely flawless, and the color is actually nice, just not red lol.

I normally use a different brand of ABS filament and I didn't like this filament when I first used it because my results were poor by comparison. I also wasn't too keen on this shade of yellow once I saw it in person. But my opinion of it has improved now that I've gotten used to it.It does take to acetone smoothing and ABS glue very nicely. The color has a tinge of red to it - kinda similar to Ford Grabber Yellow.The spool it comes on is not symmetrical. The center hub is inset an inch or two on one side and it wouldn't work on my spool holder until I modified my holder.
