## Description

One letter. That was all it took for Beckett Gentry to fall for Ella MacKenzie, his buddy Ryan’s sister. Through her letters, Ella spoke to his heart, fueled his dreams, and made his days in Afghanistan bearable. Until Ryan’s life ends and so do the letters. Leaving the military, Beckett heads to Colorado with one destination in mind - Ella. Despite the guilt Beckett feels over his friend’s death, he’s determined to carry out his promise to watch over Ryan’s sister and never tell Ella he’s the one she’d been writing to. At twenty-six, Ella has lost almost everyone she loves - and now one of her precious twins is battling cancer. When Beckett walks into her tiny town - all six-feet-plus of dark, brooding, gorgeous man - Ella barely takes notice. Okay, fine, of course she takes notice. He’s come with the last of Ryan’s letters and the promise that he’d made to watch over her, but he’s insanely tight-lipped about everything else. Now Beckett is everywhere - and the most irritating part is that she likes him, despite his tough-as-nails exterior.

Review: A beautifully written, emotional and heart wrenching story that gives you all the feels! - If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. Nothing could prepare me for those final few chapters. Wow, this book hit me everywhere and I felt everything. I'm emotionally wrecked but in the best way, if that's even possible. I bought this book on offer at 99p and it was the best thing I ever did. I probably would've bought it even if it wasn't on offer. The blurb just called out to me as soon as I read it. I can't remember the last time a book made me feel the way I feel now. A little lost, a little broken, and everything in between. I loved this book so much. It was way too sad and emotional in parts but it really made the book what it was. It was heartbreaking at times but I still would have read it. This book will be with me forever, I feel like I'm stuck in this story still, with the amount I cried, it doesn't feel real. Beautifully written and one of the most powerful books I've written in a while.
Review: Get the tissues! - The Last Letter completely broke me in the best and worst ways possible. I'm not sure if it was my own experience of having people leave when you have a young child, the longing to be loved and have someone stand beside you through life's battles, or the fact that I've come from failed relationships and could relate to the characters simply being "content" with what they had. Whatever it was, this story hit me deeply. I genuinely struggled to read this book, not because it wasn't good, but because I spent so much of it crying. Rebecca Yarros takes your heart, pulls it out, and stomps all over it. The emotional journey is intense, raw, and unforgettable. The connection between Ella and Beckett is beautiful from the very beginning. Their long-distance friendship is filled with warmth, hope, and all the feelings you could imagine. Watching their relationship grow while they navigate life's ups and downs was both inspiring and heartbreaking. Their love, resilience, and strength carry them through unimaginable challenges, making their story even more powerful. *The Last Letter* is devastatingly beautiful, heart-wrenching, and packed with emotion. It left me in tears more times than I can count, but it was absolutely worth every page. I 100% recommend reading this book—just make sure you have plenty of tissues nearby because you're going to need them.

𝓡𝓔𝓥𝓘𝓔𝓦 ✉️ 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑳𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 ✉️ “𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘁” I honestly a week later am still not over this book, I don’t think i will be for a long time it is definitely one of those that stick with you for a long time to come. Our main FMC I swear has been put through every tragedy manageable and she’s strong asf as I don’t know how she even continues in life. If you think this is going to be a fluffy romance book then you’re absolutely wrong. I loved everything about our main characters Ella, Beckett, Colt, Maisie & Havoc. If your going to read this and go in blind please be prepared to have a box of tissues to hand, each time you think everything has calmed down and your emotions are in check please prepare for another smack of tragedy 🥹😩 Rebecca I do not forgive you for what you did towards the end of this book. I am a broken woman. One of the most emotional rides I have been on and that is saying something. It’s so hard to say so much on this book without giving anything away for those who haven’t read it but yep this book is imprinted in my mind.
