More flexibility
The larger size of this Tormek support arm gives me more flexibility when grinding on the side of the diamond wheels and the capacity to sharpen larger blades on the face of the wheel. I should have added to Tormek sharpening system much earlier

NOT UNIVERSAL
We had to return this item. It is NOT UNIVERSAL. It was INCOMPATIBLE with the TORMEK T-1 knife sharpener.

The threads allow for fine adjustments to set sharpening angles. The extended length is needed for 10" or longer knives. Works well as advertised.
