**Q: Would this work for the cold steel trail boss axe?**
A: Yes, exactly what I bought this for.  It fits nice and snug on the Trail Boss.  You must position it correctly and rock it in.  It's pretty decent quality.

A: Yes

**Q: Cutting edge height?**
A: 3.5 to 4 inches. Easily fits my 3.5-inch height axe edge. A bit of play but snap strap holds it on very well. Does the job of covering head.

Disappointed. Holding strap was cut almost the whole way through and meant what would have been a poor fit anyway was also very weak. Have returned product seeking a refund on the basis it was faulty. Will update review with progress.
