DLY Snake Bite Kit, Bee Sting Kit, Emergency First Aid Supplies, Venom Extractor Suction Pump, Bite and Sting First Aid for Hiking, Backpacking and Camping

I’m an RN that likes to hike in Southern CA; there are snakes - and plenty of rattlesnakes! Thankfully, I have never had to use this - but I bought one for me and one for my 18 year old son who also hikes and fishes (to keep in his car) in my opinion, it’s MUST HAVE from May-November… minimal cost to possibly safe a life… think about it. It’s definitely worth it.

We have used the original SAWYER venom extractor for years--not happy that this a mock up. But that said, it seems to work as well. Not sure why they included a tourniquet (a. rubber latex--dangerous to many people, b. not recommended at any first aid level for treating any bites).When applied within the first 60 seconds of a sting or bite, these do seem to pull the venom out pretty completely.We've used these on numerous river trips and they work well. Worth adding to your kit, but toss out the tourniquet.

Good kit for camping and outdoor activities, very comprehensive and portable, good value for the price

I think the product is good but I found out AFTER I purchased this that you should never use this for snake bites as it will cause way more damage than.help. Best bet is to get to an emergency room asap. The case is good to carry other first aid supplies such as bandaides, alcohol wipes and other small items

Great kit with everything I may need in case of snake bit. The instructions are easy to follow. While I have not used it yet, my dog loves to roam around in the park, and I feel better when I have the kit in my car.
