This little retractable device is a game changer for my remote that would always get lost down the couch. The wire length is plenty long and the sticky side on the remote is super good and won't come off accidentally. The best thing is the cats can't chew through the wire. This is the 2nd one I've bought and happy with both!

This is an UPDATE to my initial review of 5 stars. Yes, Strong Adhesive, also came w/ hardware and adjustment tool (little Allen wrench). Like the curved feature to better suit t.v. remote controls, contoured shape. No lost remote in couch cushions, no one walks away with it - always handy. Until the cable breaks. You've got to be super mindful when tugging or puling away from case, as it's retractable. I suggest maybe giving it all the slack with that "adjustability" feature/tool. That way yoyre not having to actually tug at it at all when aiming remote towards t.v. mine broke, I somewhat fixed it temporarily, because i like this concept. That "fix" was short-lived. No other teathering gadgets, of THIS particular kind, are "out there" (at least, i couldn't find any) so i will ve ordered another, only NOW I know exactly , the area of compromise, therefore, I will reinforce with some sort of bonding glue.

bought this so we stop losing our remote, which we just paid to replace. Works amazing lol. Family isn’t a fan but it is very effective!

This item works amazing for my parent with dimentia, who hides remotes. I got tired of remote hunting when he'd hide them, purchasing additional remotes or batteries. This so far has been the only thing to keep his remote put.

It still retracts etc but not helpful if it won't stay attached to the remote.
