We live in a converted cargo van and needed a compact-able hose to use for water fill-ups. After having worked wildfire seasons on the west coast, we knew about these and loved em. We filter all our drinking water and it’s a perfect hose for us. Packs tight and drains easily as we roll it up. The catch to remember is P line needs to be pretty darn straight to flow. Any small kinks or twists and it’s game over, so we do have to take extra time to arrange the hose based on our proximity to the water source, but it’s not a big deal.

I used this for the first time this weekend....You MUST A: open spigot on full. B: Make sure that the hose is fully extended with NO twisting kinks. C: Wrap up when complete also needs 0 twists and hose straight.

I could put this thing in my coverall pocket and walk around all day. No mass, really small for an otherwise good size garden hose. Yes, it will kink, same as a firehose does, but the plusses in storage, price, and possibly even longivity outweigh that. Having two 50 foot garden hoses tucked into your toolbag is pretty handy, y'know? Thin walled but tough nylon webbing. Fittings are good quality brass with clean threads. Magic marker line shows it was hand swaged or they actually did a pressure test of the fittings. Great tool!

Great tough lightweight hose. First this is real fire hose material so it won't stay totally clean but will last more than 1-2 years like those cheap expanda-hoses. Should last 20-30 years. Just pick it up in the middle to drain it and it is compact and weighs about 2 lbs. Used by Dept. If forestry.

Be warned! Do not buy as a garden hose. This hose only lays flat it's it's fully extended. It kinks in 15 locations. If you want to use it as a garden hose, forget it. WIth no return available, It's going in the trash. $40 down the drain. Worst hose we ever bought.

Perfect hose for RV camping. I bought two 50' sections. Enough hose to reach most any water supply. Rolls up into a small roll and is light weight. No issues with kinking.

Very strong hose. Could probably drive over it multiple times and it would not leak. Kinks very easy. When it kinks the water flow stops. When it's tine to store it You must stretch it out so it won't kink while you roll it up
