Winsome Pulman Extendable Dining Table, Walnut

I almost purchased this table (under a different brand name) from a popular home furnishings online retailer, but decided to look some more and found this (it's identical to the other one) for MUCH less. I read the reviews and, despite some reviewer complaints of split wood and uneven finishes, I decided to go for it. I am SOOO glad I did! This table is exactly what I was looking for and it arrived exactly as pictured online. As others have mentioned, DO NOT opt for assembly! The table comes in five pieces: four legs and the top. The top has the extension assembly already built in. The only assembly required is attaching the legs, which is done with the included lock washers, regular washers, and long sturdy bolts. Unlike some furniture, the top and legs have metal threaded shanks, so there is little chance of mis-threading the bolts. and both lined up perfectly. I was able to "finger-tighten" the bolts so close to finished that they only required 2 - 3 cranks with the included wrench. I did attach furniture leg pads (not included) to the bottom of the wood legs to prevent scratching our hardwood floors. If you need a small table that expands for company, you cannot go wrong with this table. The finish is beautiful!

The table is the exact size I needed for our small kitchen. I ordered it because it is solid wood and the color is the shade I was looking for. There is a gash on the bottom side of the table and one extender did not line up properly. I fixed that by cutting two small pieces from a wood schim and glued them in the sliding mechanism which worked perfectly. I am not happy I had to do that but it will suffice. Overall I am happy with my purchase. I think the seller should wrap extra bubble wrap around the table to ensure no damage is done during the shipping process.

We were looking for a table for a small kitchen space. But occasionally we need to expand the table to sit 2 grandkids. This product has the perfect size for our needs. But the qualities of this product is impressive — real wood, easiness to assemble, easiness to expand, and sturdiness. And at a good price. For the right situation, this item is highly recommended.

Overall I don't think you could get a better quality table at this price point. This thing is a heavy, wooden beauty. I agree it may look a bit darker in person than the pictures (darker and can see less wood grain without very bright light) but a great table. The only thing wrong was that one of the washers was about 1/2 the size of the other 7 so I had to use one from home. Other than that, there were just 2 minor dings from slightly subpar packaging but I'm ok with it at this price point. The leafs come out nicely, feel sturdy, and can move a bit to adjust them to line up perfectly. Would recommend.

This table is exactly what we wanted in terms of size and look for our kitchen eating area. We usually keep the two leaves extended. My only gripe is that, when you extend the leaves, the simplistic mechanism is uses to level them with the main table and keep them in place is sloppy. There is no "locking" mechanism holding them against the table, so if you bump one, it might slide/separate from the table a smidge, leaving a gap or making it a little crooked, and you need to press it back into place. The other issue is that, one one end, the leaf, when extended and in place, isn't level with the main table surface. That's due to a sloppy tolerance in their placement of some metal dowels used. In this case, I put a small, thin shim to bring it up to level. But I'm not after it frequently, so once everything is set, it works pretty well (until I bump it again... :D). At some point, I may rework these to make them work properly so they can lock in place and be level. I just haven't decided whether it's worth the effort. The table is nice for the price, and I'm reasonably happy with it.

This is real hardwood. No MDF or particle board. So easy to assemble. Attach the 4 legs. So simple. Takes only seconds to expand. Still very sturdy when expanded. But the color was not to my liking at all. Too orange. I really wanted an espresso or black and this didn't come close. That is the only reason I didn't buy this for 2 years. But I finally took a chance; bought this and painted it. I love it! Takes up the exact same footprint of my old table but allow me to expand when serving dinner. I'm so happy with this table

The table is inexpensive, so the leafs are a little warped, but it would certainly have been acceptable for the price. However, the packaging was so inadequate that it arrived with a gouge on the top, nicked and dented corners on several pieces, and scratches. It was assembled by workers before the damage was noticed because the box opens with the table top down. To get a refund or to return it, I would have to disassemble the entire thing and repackage it -- and there's no reason to believe the next one would arrive intact. I think the table is probably a good product, but it doesn't seem to be adequately protected for shipping.

I like that the extension leaves can be stored under the table top. The table is smaller than one I used to own, but an okay size for two chairs or for a single person computer workspace. Very sturdy and nice dark looking wood finish.

I was really impressed with this table for this price range. It looks miles better than anything available in Ikea in this price range and it feels incredibly sturdy. The material is also real wood, and not compressed wood. Feels very high end for this price again. Perfect for a condo kitchen. The extended mode is a bit flimsier, and I wouldn't put any heavy dishes on the extended parts. But for this price range, it is still an impressive piece of furniture.

Great for extra table. Big enough for puzzles

It was easy enough to assemble and fits nicely into our apartment but it's a shame it was delivered with a large indent in the tabletop.

DO NOT BUY! Didn’t come with the correct screw lengths to keep the legs in place. Looks nice from afar but is so wobbly it doesn’t function properly. The top surface came scratched and dented.

Facile à monter,le bois il a l'air bien solide,mais j'ai remarqué que les 2 ralonges sont pas très solides,je vais voir avec le temps si ça va durer où non.
