I'm really impressed with the Creative Live! Cam Sync 1080p for the price! The video quality is sharp and clear, making it a fantastic value for a 1080p webcam. The integrated microphone works super well—crisp audio with no issues. Even with my speakers on, others on the call don't hear any background noise, thanks to the excellent noise cancellation. Highly recommend this webcam for anyone looking for quality on a budget!

Why did you choose this product over others?: The major reason was I know and trust the brand. Sturdiness: The mount is sturdy enough for all uses, and having the thread that accepts a camera mount is very helpful. Camera quality: This is where this unit excels with bright crisp visuals, even when you have rear lighting like that of a window behind the subject the camera will often control the contrast perfectly. Ease of setup: It is plug and play with no issues on set up, the camera was recognised on a Win11 machine instantly and no drivers needed. Privacy: There is a privacy flap that you can flip up over the lens when not in use. Video quality: This is where the camera really excels, offering a bright, clean and clear image. The colour rendition is almost perfect as well as the auto brightness and contrast adjustments work well.

Bought this recently as my laptop's Chicony USB2.0 built-in camera was inefficient with darker lighting and the mic sounded further away even with volume raised when I had an interview (during the July UK heatwave). So, did some preliminary research and decided on this, since it was cheap enough (reduced by Amazon's 15% off, with free delivery), which was good value for money. Once unboxed, hooked straight up to the laptop (plug and play device) and fixed to the lid just over the Chicony USB cam. Since it sat in approx the same level in terms of the laptop lid, once the live cam was previewed inside Skype I was suitably impressed! Points below: *Chicony USB2.0 cam is approx 4:3 ish frame view and 720p, 2 Megapixels -Creative Live Cam v2 is wide angle 16:9 frame view and 1080p 30 fps also 2 Megapixels *Chicony USB2.0 cam has brightness, colour lacking and obvious noise on -Creative Live Cam v2 has brighter video (colours and levels) much less noise (as long as you have good lighting noise levels should reduce) *Chicony USB2.0 cam uses standard laptop mic, when I adjusted through MS teams during my interview it still sounded further away (I was sat close to the laptop) -Creative Live Cam v2 has improved dual microphone array (improved over the initial v1 design) *Chicony UUSB2.0 has no software -Creative Live Cam v2 has COMMS kit software (downloadable directly from Creative website) with various bits and pieces to tweak e.g. mic recording levels, background noise reduction, auto mute with strength of mute (this can be turned off, same with noise reduction) What the instructions don't mention and stated in one review I checked against, is the Creative Live Cam v2 has a wide angle lens for some reason it's not mentioned on Creative's website specs or the instructions, but was mentioned in a review. For me this was somewhat obvious, because I checked the video quality in Skype and the Chicony being 4:3 approx and switching over to the Creative Live Cam v2 was night and day difference. If you are looking to upgrade your laptop or even PC desktop with an affordable web cam that won't break the bank or your wallet, this will do and it's a big improvement over the laptop's built in cam which I will not even touch anymore!

Great value, bought for my young lad originally just until he got a more expensive one but this does all he needs, instant connectivity, good functionality and decent image quality, also a great price.

Great camera, clear image at 1080p 30fps, wide angle on this camera is great if needed. I have bought three of these now two for myself and one for my wife. would highly recommend. As with any Creative product the build quality is great.

The quality of the camera is pretty good, however the camera doesn’t really clamp onto the monitor, so is easily knocked off. Occasionally the camera turns off and also seems to impact the microphone which is frustrating when on teams calls.

I was up-and-running in a couple of minutes (Windows 11). Picture/sound quality is good, and it fitted on top of my awkardly shaped monitor well enough. Plenty of adjustment to suit my needs. Good value for money.

My old webcam having become outdated I went though a cycle of "avoid overpriced Logitech webcams and buy some never heard of brand for £20.00 with a ton of 5 star reviews" after these breaking down consistently with a year........ in Feb 2022 this webcam had appeared on the Market and being a proper brand I thought I would have a pop. At the time it did such a good job I got 2 more for other computers in the house. 2 years on no failures and no problems and I would buy again in a heartbeat. Is it 4K? No. In low light is the picture of grain? No (what camera at this price range is?) Can you use it start your Youtube empire and show Joe Rogan how it's really done and what broadcast quality really looks like? No. (But it might we worth getting started with if you are on a budget.) Is the picture significantly better than a build in webcam. Yes. Is it a stable reliable piece of kit. Yes. Does it do it's intended job well. Yes. Does it represent really good value for money. Yes. Another nice thing for me was that 77% angle of view. A nice normal angle of view where a lot of other webcams in this price range at the time of buying seemed to believe that a semi fish eye view that included as much of the room as possible was a good idea. This has a normal view suited to face to face conversations. The privacy cap is a nice touch too. Overall with this on the market you'd a have a real hard time convincing me to buy a Logitech 920 with a similar spec at almost 3 times the price.

I had to buy a webcam for work and narrowed my options down to this and a slightly pricier, worser spec Logitech model. I'd usually go with Logi (good track record in my experience) but i'm happy that i gave CREATIVE! a go. Pros: - Its plug and play; no adjustments needed - It has good picture quality - The auto focus works well enough - The build quality is good & the cable is sturdy and is a good length - It works well with MS Teams Cons: - None! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend alot for a decent image for Teams, Zoom etc calls.

Excellente webcam avec une très bonne qualité d’image et un grand angle pratique pour les visioconférences. Le son est clair et la fonction muet automatique est très utile au quotidien. Installation rapide et utilisation simple. Très bon rapport qualité-prix, je recommande sans hésiter.

I use it for daily Zoom meetings. Even with a table lamp in another part of the room, the light is sufficient. The microphone on it is quite good. When I watched the meeting recordings, I saw that there was no missing or muffled sound. Sound is more important than image. The cover on the front is very useful. Because sometimes it is easier and faster to close the cover for a short time than to turn the camera on and off via Zoom. The cable is quite long. Actually, this is a matter of complaint for me because I connected the camera to the USB on the monitor. Otherwise, no problem of course. Since my monitor has a tilt feature, I sometimes drop it (when I'm not using the camera) but this is also my fault. There is no such problem in normal use. There is also a tripod input. I also plugged it into my android phone once. It was very successful there, too. Since my phone is not very good, I could not go above 720p, but this is not the fault of the camera, of course. However, it is nice to use it without any drivers and problems on Windows 7 PC and Android 13-14.
