Eyedentity Series brings you: hardware with a clean design, unique woods, shells with a different number of plies and thicknesses, and, thanks to our longstanding partnership, Evans drumheads. This set is made from 100% North American Maple—a wood well known for its sonic properties. Maple has a balanced sound that works well in just about every situation. This shell pack is in the Imbuia Fade finish. A subtle but beautiful fade in the color reminiscent of the native Brazilian Imbuia wood. It is finished with a durable satin wax finish. This kit uses Odery's signature approach of varying the thickness of the plys in the drum for the best sonic properties. The toms are all 6 ply with thinner outer plys and thicker inner plys for a total thickness of 6mm. The bass drum is 8 ply and also uses the thin/thick/thin approach for a final thickness of 8.4mm. The hoops are triple flanged and the bearing edges are cut to emulate the proprietary approach employed in the high-end custom drums from Brazil.
